We booked very late in the day but had a wonderful welcome. Matt added a vegetarian option to the supper menu at last minute. Both supper and breakfast were delicious with almost everything homemade. Beautiful building.

We had a lovely stay at the 'Chambres d'Hotes a Benaize' with Helen and Michael, from start to finish. The apartment is very comfortable and spacious with beautiful countryside views and has many thoughtful touches for guests to enjoy - such as books to read, selection of board games and DVDs, plenty of clothes hangers, toiletries, a great tea and coffee station and chilled water in the fridge - all of which made us feel very welcome. Breakfast was delicious with plentiful warm pastries, homemade jams, fresh fruits and more...a great way to start the day! The garden area is peaceful and made for a lovely place to sit with a drink after a day of house hunting and seeing the local sights. Car parking is easy as there is plenty of space right outside the garden gate. Both Helen and Michael kindly shared their local knowledge and had some great recommendations on local restautants and places to visit. All in all we enjoyed a wonderful stay and will most definietly be coming back to stay again. Thank you Helen and Michael. 10/10!

The environment was relaxing and the chickens were very entertaining. The hosts left a croissant basket with treats in the apartment with orange juice, milk, jam, and chocolates. So awesome! The gîte itself was very well renovated and the beds and bathrooms were excellent. It was fun to walk around the property. We highly recommend staying here.
