The property is delightful and our suite of bedroom and bathroom were well equipped. The bathroom is luxurious, with lovely toiletries and a stunning bath. Outstanding breakfast on a truly beautiful terrace. So enjoyable! Rachel is very helpful. She recommended a restaurant and a local chateaux wine festival that was a highlight of our holiday. A good location for touring the surrounding wine area and locations such as Michel de Montaigne’s Tower.

Every thing about this hotel was absolutely superb. true highlight of my trip

The room was large with a walk-in shower and a separate toilet area. Large doors/windows opened out onto the front allowing for plenty of fresh air. There is no air-conditioning, so this was useful for the summer nights. The bed was comfortable and a variety of alternative bedding covers and pillows were provided. The staff were friendly and helpful.

Set in a former Templar House, Auberge de la Commanderie is located in the heart of Saint-Émilion medieval town and offers views of the town and vineyards. It is just 5.6 mi from Libourne.
