Guines is near Calais but out in delightful countryside.
Guines is near Calais but out in delightful countryside. This Logis has far more faclities in summer - swimming pool, gardens, and much much more. We have never stayed there in summer but you can get all the details on their website. We stay there as it is very handy for Eurotunnel whilst out of Calais. There are several restaurants in Guines. We were very pleased to find this Logis!

Guines was a sad little place that had obviously seen better...
Guines was a sad little place that had obviously seen better days. The marketplace was being renovated but the only place we saw to get a drink was a run down bar with a poor old lady still working behind it.
The highlight of the "town" was the fabulous bakery which seemed to be open all hours and had the most amazing choice of bread and lovely things! It definitely wasn't worth the visit unfortunately

Very good location in Guînes. We were very grateful for a early check-in. Thank you. We enjoyed the patio - also very handy to dry the washing. The shower had good water pressure and the fact that it was in the bedroom did not bother us at all. Well stocked kitchen - we only stayed one night so did not use it to cook. Bedroom is spacious and matrass was comfortable. Highly recommended!

A beautiful house with secluded gardens.
Guînes was a nice town to walk around and we enjoyed an excellent meal at L’Auberge de Trois Pays.
The house had four bathrooms which is great for large groups and an exceptionally well equipped kitchen.
The lounge and dining room were spacious and comfortable and so was the garden furniture and garden.

Au Cozy is well located in Guimed, near the maon square. The host is welcoming and charming amd the facilities are eccellent. Lots of space to relax and prepare your own meal or breakfast. Would definately go back when next in Guines.⁸
