CanadaRobyn greeted us warmly and showed us to our fully equipped room complete with a kitchen. Fruit, yogurt,buns, cookies, tea and coffee were available. The B&B was spotless with a beautiful chenille comforter. The bathroom came complete with soap and body wash. The entire unit was tastefully decorated with a mixture of old and new interesting objects. There were English books plus Netflix to amuse us. We particularly enjoyed the book called “French for Cats”. It was hilarious.

The pool and the patio are awesome and Dominique offers drinks and a huge and delicious charcuterie board (at a small cost) if you want.
Breakfast is fantastic: she makes her own yogurts and everything is served with a great taste!
The room was very comfortable with a cool decor and there is a garage to store your bike!
I recommend this place 100%!

United StatesAbsolutely lovely stay at this gorgeous B&B, we didn’t want to leave. Quiet luxury yet comfortable and welcoming. Jean Pierre and Isabelle are the most gracious hosts and we felt right at home. Large, light filled rooms, exceptional beds with plush bedding. Very quiet location with views of the beautiful canal and the sweet village of Homps. The pool and sun patio are perfection. Breakfast was a lovely selection of baked goods, fresh fruits, and local delicacies. We’ve stayed in many places all over the world and this is one of the best. Highly recommend!

Air conditioning is a welcome addition and quite rare in France. The large, private, locked & gated area to store your bike relaxes any worries you may
have. Just a few hundred feet away is an excellent restaurant away from the canal that you may have spent all day on and need a break. Great 👍 communication from the property owner and a nice introduction upon your arrival make this an easy 5 Stars establishment.

Homps is a lovely French canal side village with an...
Homps is a lovely French canal side village with an excellent hotel, Le Jardin d’Homps, and a number of other accommodations types available to suit all budgets. This is our 5 visit. There are a number of restaurants to choose from together with a gift shop/small general store and a wine merchant that does wine tasting events. The main shop/petrol station has recently been extended and modernised. It is very well stocked and has been run by the same friendly French family for a number of years. There is a large church in the centre of the village and a smaller church, that often hosts art exhibitions, on the way out toward Azile. It’s a 15 minute walk to the lake, or a short drive to the lakeside carpark, where there are many water activities available as well as a nice cafe.

I liked Homps. It was lovely.
I liked Homps. It was lovely. The restaurants were superb, really good, my personal favourite was Le Foudre, but they were all amazing. Also loved the lake and the amenities there. Well worth a visit.

Wonderful hotel, very helpful hosts, accommodation excellent, pet friendly too. We did some fishing, wished we could have caught more !!! Very tranquil setting, and restaurants either side of our accommodation were excellent. Only one disappointment was a restaurant called "La Peniche", would never go again, kept us waiting an inordinate amount of time between courses and food was not good either. The restos to visit, En Bonne Compagnie, La Foudre, and La Rive Gauche. Variety of choices and all have excellent food.

The hosts were wonderful and it was a pleasure to stay at Le Jardiniere.
They were very attentive and friendly and most helpful in providing lots of local knowledge of the area.
Breakfast was excellent and the room very comfortable.
Le Jardin d’Homps has a delightful garden and pool with a beautiful terrace where our hosts offered great hospitality after a long day spent touring.
Within a few minutes walk from Le Jardin are several good restaurants situated alongside the Canal du Midi.
We will certainly return to Le Jardin.

We stayed at Maison des Palmiers for a night while cycling the Canal du Midi. Gemma showed us around and made us feel very welcome. The property is beautiful and very well kept.
There are many bars and restaurants in the area, considering Homps is such a small village, and after a great night's sleep there was a really lovely breakfast waiting for us downstairs.
Would definitely recommend; we'll be back!

Robyn was so friendly, helpful and accommodating. She shared some great tips on where to go for drinks and dinner in the evening.
The rooms were clean and perfectly equipped plus with breakfast items which were so appreciated.
Great place to stay if you are visiting Homps.

The accommodation was really quite remarkable. My wife and I have stayed in over 600 hotel/motel/B&Bs during the past 10 years in 20+ countries and this would rate in the top 20. Robyn made access very easy which is the biggest challenge for private hosts and main concern for guests.
