Good location, well equipped, clean

We arrived early so I went in to see if I could park my car in the space I had reserved and then come back later to check in. The young lady on reception could not have been more helpful and after checking she advised us that our room was actually ready. The room was typical of an old French building and we loved it as it was spacious and comfortable with two Juliette balconies overlooking a courtyard at the back. The Hotel is ideally placed within walking distance of both the bars and restaurants in the centre of town but also the fabulous Boulevard de Pyrenees with its beautiful views over the Pyrenees and the free furnicular railway which will take you down to the low town and back up again. There was a good choice for breakfast with fabulous coffee and I would definitely stay here again

Location was right in the heart of town, appreciated parking on-site was on the property. Check in was smooth, efficient and the person at the front desk made us feel very welcome. Appreciated happy hour and breakfast was very good. Room was compact and well appointed. Even though we faced the street windows were well insulated and we were not bothered by any street noise. Please note our review is based on the understanding we were looking for a modern, clean, convenient, more budget focused stay and it met those needs wonderfully.

This Hotel had all the American Standards and more! Very Comfortable bed, Amazing Garden and Pyranees Mountain View from our room as we requested. Lovely and kind Staff. Will rebook this hotel the next time we're in Pau.

Beautiful view of the Pyrenees. Beautiful suite and bath. Wonderful breakfast and service! Silvania was most accodating to serve us a beautiful Wine and charcuterie platter with bread on Monday night.. So Sweet to share stories of the Castle and Lady of the house.

The location was within a short drive to the parking for the city center. The shower was spacious and had good pressure and temperature. The breakfast was convenient with many choices of foods. The host was gracious to chill a bottle of wine for us. The room and bedding was clean and fresh.

Everything was fine, we had two rooms for us five, which was enough. The rooms are warm (AC working), everything clean, showers are fine. The breakfast is okay but could be more varied. The staff is very polite and helpful. Good location near big shopping center, parking at the hotel is available.

We booked this hotel two days before the finish of a Tour De France stage. We got a great price with two rooms for a family of five. The hotel is dated but very clean and quiet and with a good breakfast. The kids were very happy and so were we. We drove in close to the centre of Pau and saw the end of stage 13 of the Tour De France which was a dream come true. The staff were lovely.
