Everyone was wonderful. I’ve been traveling around these last 2 weeks. This was the best stay. Small, newly renovated by the owners to a perfect fit for the village. My room was spacious and the bed very comfortable. The staff….Maria and Bernardi were so nice and helpful for anything I needed. I went by car. Bernardi helped me with parking. It’s a tiny village so, everything is ‘around the corner’, literally. The village is quiet and the people there are very nice.

Cute, quiet place run by a friendly owner - be sure to reserve a table at the restaurant for dinner, the food is very good and it seems to be the only place to eat in town. Lovely continental breakfast as well.

We had such a lovely stay at this house surrounded by vineyards. It’s incredibly peaceful, with nothing but the sounds of nature, birds, wind in the trees, and total silence otherwise. Exactly what we needed. The dog Tinto was so cute and friendly, always around and making everything feel even more cozy and welcoming. We also got to taste their wines, which was a really special experience, so nice to enjoy them right where they’re made. The hospitality was amazing, very warm and genuine. We felt at home right away. A perfect place to relax and disconnect for a few days.

There were about 12 restaurants in Lagrasse, most of which were very good. There were a number of music events during our 3 week stay so iplenty to do. The river swimming in the village was quite good but at times a lot of noisy children. The river swimming at Ribaute (the neightbouring village) was more peaceful. Lagrasse a good centre for day trips to Carcassonne, Narbonne and the Corbieres

Fantastic historical and architectural sites.

Fantastic historical and architectural sites. We were there for the Tour de France but we also had the annual International Piano Festival which was 2-3 concerts per day in the old market square for about 5 days. All free but donations welcomed. Really good music and variety. Highlight was the Johan DuPont Trio and a improv at the old church with saxophone, organ and percussion. We’ll be back for sure!

Lagrasse is a beautiful village, we loved swimming in the river there. There were some nice bars and restaurants (le Recantou has a lovely spot overlooking the Abbey and river) plus a good bakery. There is ample parking for visitors and it is easy to walk around.

Beautiful historic village, gorgeous architecture, good restaurants and bars etc. Interesting Abbey to visit. Lovely river with swimming opportunity if you like 'wild' swimming. There is a small produce market in the town square on Saturday morning.

Lagrasse is nestled in some wooded hills.

Lagrasse is nestled in some wooded hills. It is a very attractive and well laid out town. We took different walks out of town each day and loved the views that the town offered and neighbouring countryside. For a small town it has lots of cafés and restaurants and there is a warm welcome in the town.

One of the few lodgings directly in Lagrasse that provides overnight accommodation. The house is unassuming from the outside, but the rooms are large and nicely furnished. A beautiful quiet garden with the possibility to walk down to the river. In close proximity to the historic center, it offers an evening tour and several dining options. The owner allowed us to park the motorcycle right in front of the house.

Beautiful location in Lagrasse. Lagrasse is a very pretty location. The house was very French which we loved. Lots of bars within a couple of minutes walk. If you follow the streets behind the house there’s a lovely bar by the river.

Great little house, well stocked and in a fabulous location. Lagrasse is a beautiful place, and swimming in the river daily was a highlight. We had two great meals out, too - at Le Bastion and another little place.

Beautiful and luxurious bed linen. A real treat. In the morning I invited a friend for coffee that we found in the fridge and made in the coffee machine and he said it was the best he’s all in all Lagrasse.
