The aesthetic design was excellent- it showed the old character of the building( my room had the old stone revealed on one side) while being up to date and comfortable . Lovely tile shower with excellent hot water and water pressure . Nice rooms on ground floor to relax in, including a library that included children’s books and games and also a billiards room. Nice art and interesting sculptures on display. The staff were very friendly and helpful . The breakfast also very good including a juicer for fresh juice.

Sophie welcomed us and showed us to our room, helping to carry our panniers. She immediately made us feel at home and graciously accommodated our request to cook up our supper outside on the patio; even going so far as to cook up our pasta and chill our wine. Laurent joined us from work about then and we had some good conversation. The bed was very comfortable; we both slept soundly all night. The shrubs around the property make it very quiet and private. The property was immaculately clean.
