Montagne is a quiet little town surrounded by endless...
Montagne is a quiet little town surrounded by endless vineyards. There are two restaurants in the town, that we were aware of. It is a 7 minute drive to the epicentre of St. Emilion, which is bustling and incredibly busy. There are dozens of wine tours and tastings, within a square 5km.

We loved the views from the pool area and found the accommodation comfortable and well equipped. Our host was attentive and gave us local wine and cakes. All the ingredients for a nice holiday. We would recommend this place if you are wanting a chill out holiday.

Montagne is a quiet village within a 5 minute drive and 15-20 minute bike ride of St. Emilion. It is a very quiet yet beautiful old village where the only two restaurants are the ones at the Hotel Ducs de Sienne. It’s within walking distance of an excellent vineyards and chateau St. George. It also a lovely Presbitary and Chapel and Cemetary right in the center of town next door to the Hotel.

It’s located 6 minutes out of Saint Emillion you definitely...
It’s located 6 minutes out of Saint Emillion you definitely need a car when you stay here. Wineries are located very close to each other so you don’t have to drive very far at all. You can easily visit 3-4 wineries within half a day. Montagne is a very small village but it has amazing Pâtisserie located 3 minute walk in town . Beautiful pastries and really cheap. The hotel has stunning gardens and a pool overlooking the wineries. There are not many places where you can sit in the pool overlooking the stunning scenery of vineyards. So peaceful and relaxing. AUX DUCS DE SIENNE Accommodation is definitely a place to stay in Montagne. Highly recommend the property. Fantastic staff and beautiful accommodation we definitely stay again
