The breakfast was ample. Good coffee, tea, bread . Delicious homemade yogurt, jams. We had full use of the kitchen so for dinner we had salads, fruit, cheeses, sausage ( all purchased along our drives)and wine. We purchased the local wine at the Tower/ Chateau of Montaigne, just a 5 minute walk up the hill from the house. We hade wonderful weather so we enjoyed all our meals outside on the patio under a grape arbor overlooking the lovely large garden. Our hosts, Lauren and her husband were very friendly and helpful with recommendations for outings and meals The tower was an interesting place to visit especially if you are a fan of Montaigne’s writings. The château unfortunately was closed because a film crew was using the site at the time. The village is small and very quiet, but lovely.

Perfect place to stay for the weekend. Very welcoming and accommodating hosts. Very clean and comfortable, great bed and shower, fresh and delicious breakfast. Close to the main road but completely quiet inside.
