I love Roscoff, its architecture & history.

I love Roscoff, its architecture & history. I've been there often over 20 years. This time I found the traffic arrangements complicated & inconsistent & couldn't get parking near the hotel. This can make or break a stay.

A pretty town with some nice restaurants.

A pretty town with some nice restaurants. Seafood is plentiful here and delicious. A day trip to the Isle de Batz is magical. It has a lovely garden Jardin Georges DeLascelle . Roscoff has a lovely garden too. The jardin exotique & Botanique. Lots of interesting plants in a beautiful setting.

Our favourite parts of Roscoff were the old harbour, the attractive streets, and the sea views. It is a lovely place to walk around, especially before or after a ferry crossing. We ate at Chez Janie, which was excellent and well placed for enjoying the harbour atmosphere. Roscoff is easy to get around on foot. It is compact, pleasant, and straightforward, with the ferry port easy to reach. For couples, Roscoff is ideal for relaxed walks, seafood, cafés, harbour views, and simply enjoying the slower pace of a small Breton coastal town.

Single overnight stay prior to catching the Ferry. Excellent Restaurants but very important to book as they do become full quickly. Parking can be difficult and elements of the one way system are confusing, so plan your route before hand if going to a town centre hotel.

Roscoff definitely deserves more than a stopover stay.

Roscoff definitely deserves more than a stopover stay. We normally stay one or two nights but always want to stay longer. There’s plenty of tourist shops, but they’re small and friendly. The main square gets busy so avoid at night or def book a table. There’s a burger van opposite the carousel that’s great value for a quick dinner snack but shuts at nine I think. There’s a little supermarket - Carrefour, that’s open 8-8. There’s a lovely cafe - Le Spot that does great paninis etc, out of the main thoroughfare. Walk slightly west for some lovely small very soft sandy beaches. Head to St Pol for the cathedrals and the Super U there is very good.

Roscoff I suspect is under rated as it is a ferry port, but...

Roscoff I suspect is under rated as it is a ferry port, but also a totally charming town. Great for a weekend trip on the ferry as a foot passenger. Every meal was excellent and the staff always helpful and kind.

I have stayed here a number of times and every stay has had really friendly staff and a very comfortable bed. The staff speak good English and the hotel is in an excellent location to explore Roscoff. I could not recommend this hotel more highly.

Location is convenient for using the ferry and is right on the front of Roscoff which is beautiful. The hotel has a good feeling and a quirky mix of architecture. Rooms are like little beach huts into a communal courtyard.

We did not require breakfast. We chose Triton for the location, and parking and easy reach for Roscoff and nearby areas. The hotel is quite, very clean comfortable rooms. Staff are helpful and very polite.
