Beautiful and special place, friendly staff and good breakfast. Everything is maintained very clean and I loved the design of the room, as well as the whole chateau. We loved the location so we will be coming back again in May.

The property doesn't show well. Rooms are damp, floor was poor quality, wasn't clean. Nothing worked in the room like all the lights, hair dryer, towel heater/dryer. Room was made up just before i arrived, no soap container in shower. The rooms on ground floor have a back door which leads out to a grassy area. It was hot and stuffy in my room and I inquired about a fan. I was told, just open back door. When I went to look at opening the door, I noticed some of the lower door frame was missing as if someone had broke into the room. The door would not close and lock either. Only protection was a door chain. Not Good.

We liked everything! The location is idyllic. The place is a restoration of love, with original features and a modern twist. The host was super helpful, friendly and accommodating; he was just a perfect host. The shower is great and the bed is super comfortable and the breakfast was delicious; the fig jam was out of this world! We stayed here on our way along the Avenue Verte and would recommend it to anyone doing the route.

A wonderful piece of paradise in the countryside! This small place is a gem. It felt incredibly private. The hosts were warm and welcoming, but never intrusive. We had no car because we were attending a wedding celebration nearby, and relied on rides from family and taxis. Guests should consider that it is a secluded, out of the way location, and a rental car would be very useful. Because it is the countryside, there are no restaurants, bakeries ,or grocery stores within walking distance—that I am aware of. The hosts were very understanding when a taxi mix-up disturbed them at midnight.

I drove from UK, with my daughter, easy to find and in the...

I drove from UK, with my daughter, easy to find and in the centre for visiting different areas. Time spent in Giverny, Limay, Versailles, Rouen. The village was very quiet, just what we needed. Playing chess, paddling on the lake, watching the otters, watching the swallows every evening. Very relaxing. Plenty to do. We didn't eat in the restaurant as it was a set menu 4 or 7 courses, too much for us (volume and price) but small trip out made us discover other local establishments.
