The attention to detail was outstanding. We had everything we needed and wanted. We felt so relaxed and at home that we didn’t want to leave. Everyone was so wonderful and kind to us which set our stay in this wonderful manoir apart from all other places. The owners were (high-level) antique dealers prior to completing renovating the manor and the furniture and decor is just perfect. Each room has a different theme which makes it quite fun! Even the rich colors in the rooms make you feel warm and comfortable. It was the first days of the heat wave and the pool was luscious. Breakfast was delicious and we tasted the local grape juice made by the neighbor along with the other goodies. They had a lovely light evening meal which was perfect, especially during the heat wave. The region produces lots of fruit and vegetables (tomatoes that you can’t believe) and these were highlighted in the meals. The local wine was delicious. I highly recommend the Manoir Saint-Jean to guests looking to get away from the hustle and bustle to just relax. Thank you Dominic, Anne-Marie and Frederic for such a lovely stay. Until next time.

Bert and Dirk were amazing hosts. They helped us at every step of the way, from organizing transportation, to cooking meals, to helping us find fun places to visit around the area. The property is stunning and exceeded our expectations. The pool and views are luxurious. The bed was one of the most comfortable I’ve stayed in. The amenities were wonderfully thought out and made it feel like a luxury vacation. Although it’s off the beaten path, it is worth a visit. The calm, quiet area and scenery along with a beautiful manoir, good food, and wonderful hosts made this a lovely and healing get away.
