Our stay at Coin de Paix was truly unforgettable. From the moment we arrived, we were welcomed by the incredibly warm, kind, and genuinely lovely owners. They are fully bilingual—perfect French and perfect English—which made communication effortless and added so much comfort to our stay. Their adorable dog, Poppi, instantly stole our hearts and made the chateau feel like home. The property itself is spectacular. The château has been beautifully updated while retaining its charm, and the rooms are enormous with exceptionally comfortable beds dressed in luxurious, high thread-count sheets. Check-in was seamless, and every space feels thoughtful, modern, and refined. My shower even had a stunning view overlooking the peaceful pond—an experience in itself. At night, the stars were breathtaking with absolutely no noise or light pollution. The grounds are lush, expansive, and meticulously cared for, offering wonderful walking and hiking paths right from the property. It truly lives up to its name: quiet, peaceful, and surrounded by nature. Breakfast was another highlight—fresh, delicious croissants and baguettes every morning, perfectly French and absolutely delicious. The location is also ideal. Traveling from London was incredibly easy: a quick flight to Rennes followed by a simple, scenic drive to the château. The overall value for the experience, comfort, and quality is outstanding. Coin de Paix is the type of place you want to tell everyone about—but also selfishly want to keep all to yourself. A true 5-star getaway in every possible way. We cannot recommend it highly enough and will absolutely be returning.

I really enjoyed staying at the Domaine Les Hilliers. Christine is a wonderful host and was always happy to assist. My room was comfortable, spacious and clean. I highly recommend this place to anyone who appreciates the beauty of the countryside and quiet evenings away from city noise.
