We loved the apartment but it was a little remote. Too far away from restaurants and with limited cooking facilities evening meals were a bit unexciting. However the apartment was beautifully restored and very comfortable.

Property was a perfect location for exploring DDay sites. House was historical and neat to learn the history. Clean, had everything we needed and in excellent condition. Host was so helpful with wonderful recommendations and very quick responses. Highly recommend ❤️

Location great for Beaches of Normandy visits. Appreciated the parking space. Appreciated the kindness of the owners on sight, a young busy family. It was a quiet spot for the most part. Liked having the oven in the kitchen. We spent a week in this accommodation.

GORGEOUS! Great owners… great coffee… peaceful and a perfect stay. The owners take pride in offering quality, top notch service and amenities. I couldn’t be happier after a nightmare we had the same day with two separate hotels. (One cancelled on us, and one didn’t even answer the door of the chateau to let us in even before check in tome was over). I was so incredibly happy to have found this place, even if it wasn’t planned… we felt so welcome and amazing at the loving atmosphere and hospitality of the owners. Their love of their property radiates from within and from every corner. Everything is well thought out and comfortable. Even the products offered for bathroom use was all natural. Just an exquisite stay and I’m very thankful for them as they answered the phone very late at night due to our unfortunate circumstance and welcomed us with open arms! The property is a must see! Highly recommended!

A lovely peaceful town on the coast with just enough going...

A lovely peaceful town on the coast with just enough going on to keep us interested. The boulangerie and local shop are fantastic, and we had a wonderful meal at The Sexton bistro on the last night. The location is perfect as a base camp for all the museums, chateaux and towns in the area, and the best beaches are just 10-15 minutes away. We found swimming best at Saint-Côme-de-Fresné. The sea is so warm and never too deep and there are lifeguards there all day so you feel safe.

We had made a detour to Ver sur Mer so that we could visit...

We had made a detour to Ver sur Mer so that we could visit the British Normany Monument and the Standing with Giants and also the Bayeux museum. It was worth the detour and we enjoyed the area, perhaps another day could have been useful to visit more of the sites.

We were en route from Geneva to Cherbourg in difficult...

We were en route from Geneva to Cherbourg in difficult winter conditions. Ver sur Mer was a little off the beaten track and given our time constraints and the weather we didn't explore the locality. But for someone (for example) visiting the D Day beaches, it seems like a perfect location.

With the new British Nornandy Memorial and other D-Day locations in the village there is great potential for British visitors but the only restaurant was not open - may be different in the summer season. attractive sea front but no facilities. Half hour drive to Bayeux
