SpainLocation, facilities and staff were absolutely excellent. Because of an early start we did not take breakfast. I would readily recommend the hotel. The only minor problem we encountered was with car parking but this did not detract from the pleasure of our stay.

Wimereaux has a very long beach so plenty of space.
Wimereaux has a very long beach so plenty of space. It wasn't even high season but the parking was impossible as it was obviously a very popular place. Impossible to get into a restaurant unless you had booked. We only had a one night stopover and hadn't realised it was going to pose such problems. Not a good meal (almost cold chips - service so slow we almost gave up and a rather boring meal all round) but a very nice ice cream place just across the road. Unless I was wanting to spend time on the beach I would't recommend this place.

Lovely town, gorgeous arty shops, dress shops and a carrefour.
Do NOT go to La Speranza restaurant, food dreadful and welcome worse. Hated amount of dog poo on pavements. Do go to market at Le Touquet, great fun.

A bustling town with independent shops, cafés and restaurants. A wide esplanade and a very safe beach make it ideal for families. The people are friendly and will help if your French is not up to askinng questions. Very busy on a Sunday so if you want lunch go in early.
Parking can be an issue, it's pay parking but not expensive and free between 12:00 and 2:00
There is a one way system which you soon get used to.

It's very nice place with great beach, very nice promenade, plenty of restaurants, coffee shops, and small shops offering good quality products (fish, fruits, local products). It's clean and safe.

Wimereaux is a typical seaside town, and not one that I would choose to return to except that we required a hotel that took dogs. There are plenty of reasonable quality restaurants and tourist gift shops but nowhere to exercise dogs on grass or a natural surface. The town is clean and generally felt safe (however, as we were eating supper at a restarant on the main street, approximately 50 migrants (one boat load) walked past, heading for the beach. There was a sinister air as they passed, in silence, with life jackets to hand).

We have visited and stayed in Wimereux many times, sometimes...
We have visited and stayed in Wimereux many times, sometimes with friends, other times with family. We love it there: it's by the sea, has many restaurants and shops. It's also within a short distance from both the car ferries at Calais, and also the tunnel. One point to make is that a few places are closed in February when we last visited, such as the great Cap Nord restaurant along the promenade.

Great location, close to beaches, shops and restaurants.
Philippe was a great host and responded to any questions quickly. The gardens were a bonus with a hot tub and chairs to sit in the well maintained garden.
Parking was very easy as Philippe has some covered, secured parking nearby.

Great location! Accommodation is well set out, and Wimereux is such a vibrant and beautiful place. We loved watching sunsets over the sea, from the balcony.
