Our room was delightful and spacious. We easily traveled by bus to and from Cromer. The lady at the desk was very cheerful and helpful with all our questions, one of which was the location of the bus stop used to return to Cromer. While at Dormy House, we met a lovely couple over your puzzle in the lounge area. We enjoyed a long, interesting conversation with new friends from another county, an experience we will always remember. (Our world could certainly use more such connections.) Our stay could not have been any better.

The location was beautiful. You looked out of the room onto The North Sea. The staff - 9.5 out of 10. The bar itself - fantastic, The food and drink in the bar - delightful. As the carpark was full, I parked the car immediately across the road from the main entrance. Yes, we'd definitely stay here again.

What Guests Said About Aylmerton:

Scored out of 10, guest rating 6.0

Aylmerton is one and a half miles south of Sheringham.

Aylmerton is one and a half miles south of Sheringham. It is quiet, and a very small village on the main road from Sheringham to Cromer. It was a perfect place to stay if you had a car. Impossible without transport. It enabled us to have the seaside holiday we wanted for the family- 10 minutes from home to beach, without the bustle of the seaside. Complete peace in the evening and overnight.

We had a very enjoyable stay. Lovely staff. Exceptionally clean and comfortable room. Quiet. Great breakfast. The gardens are beautiful and relaxing. Well placed to travel by car to Cromer, East & West Runton and Sheringham. A bonus was to be able to walk to Felbrigg Hall and a very interesting church in Aylmerton village

Food was good, felt like a clamping site. Not a country manor hotel that I was led to believe I had booked.
