Wonderful little place. The staff was so nice to our kids, they even have a corner with kids toys to play with. There is a nice little pub attached to the hotel and a restaurant that has really good food. We had the suite and it was quiet and comfortable. The breakfast was quite good with many choicea to order. The 6 minute walk down to he harbor was just amazing.

Valerie and Ian are such a lovely and friendly host. Made me feel at home right away from the moment I was greeted at their doorstep. Such a comfortable & clean room. Perfect room temperature. Super soft & comfy pillow. They even provided hot chocolate in the room welcome pack. Amazing. Location is very close to Banff town centre. They had a shed where I could park my touring bicycle safely.

Not only extremely clean and comfortable, the cottage is...

Not only extremely clean and comfortable, the cottage is well located for this beautiful part of Scotland. My favourites were the coastal walks between Portsoy and Cullen, with its lovely viaduct, Portknockie and Bow Fiddle Rock, and beautiful Whisky country slightly inland, I visited my friend in Aberlour, which is a lovely village. Next time I'll visit the old railway walks, such as the Speyside Way. I'd definitely recommend trying Cullen Skink in Cullen (I ate at the Rockpool restaurant) and Portsoy Ice Cream among other treats.
