Quirky, well-equipped, peacefully situated on the edge of a very pretty village, easy to get to Ironbridge and ok to get to David Austin's rose garden along some very rolling English roads! For me, very unusually, the bed got a 10 for comfort! Nice private grassy area to front with bench for taking early or late cuppas. If we'd had time would love to have explored Speeds Lane itself with its many dollshouse-like, chocolate box cottages.

The room was perfectly spacious for one and well-furnished, with a comfortable bed. The setting of the property is reasonably quiet, and the room was well away from the bar, so it had a peaceful feel to it. Appreciated the fact that it was also a CAMERA listed establishment. It was easy to drive from there to the Wrekin or to Ironbridge, both areas worth exploring. The food was excellent, as was the service. I linked up with family whilst there, and we all enjoyed our meal.

Such a lovely stay. Lovely welcome and wonderful surprise of a birthday card and balloons in the room after I put a little note on the booking that it was my sister's birthday. Great pool, plenty of seating around it and lovely treat of steam room and sauna included in our stay. Good location for visiting Ironbridge museums and good walk into Ironbridge itself. 21,000 steps done in one day!

Second time we’ve stayed at this Hotel, location is easy to access and ideal for the local attractions nearby. Each room has its own identity, decor and lovely features which instantly makes the stay more enjoyable, homely and welcoming as opposed to the standard copy and paste Hotels. Staff were very friendly and polite. Breakfast Hamper in the room which is a nice touch. Will definitely be returning next time we’re in the area.

Excellently equipped, unusual little cottage, full of character. Lots of steps so would not suit the infirm. Despite being in the centre of the town, it is very quiet. Lovely place, well located to explore the area.

We loved Broseley.

We loved Broseley. It's a charming village with a lovely park created to honour war veterans. There are lots of independant shops, everything you need really. Theres a nature reserve and a beautiful Church. The people are extremely friendly too. We had English and Chinese food which was tasty. Mikeys across the road was a great new cafe also licensed. We enjoyed walking round the village full of alleys with quaint houses. We could have stayed longer. Sorry to leave.

Great location, good for the many walks in and around Ironbridge. We enjoyed a walk from Coal Port to Ironbridge. The river Wye was very swollen in mid February so some parts of the walk not accessible. However, there were other options.

Broseley is a very sweet little town, with its own amazing green grocers, butchers and bakers. It is excellently placed for visiting the various Ironbridge Gorge museums and hiking around the beautiful local area. Slightly further afield are walks in the Wenlock Edge (near pretty Much Wenlock), the Wrekin, the Long Mynd and the Stiperstones.
