The lovely ambience and family feel of the hotel. The staff were welcoming and friendly and went out of their way to make you feel at home. Jovana and Niamh along with Steve were always cheerful, chefs, Gary and Hannah were very accommodating in preparing Ready brek for my son who had mouth abscess and unfortunately couldn't eat. Thank you to Karen and Natalie on reception for making our stay complete. An added bonus was the fact we had a ground floor room with access to the car park through patio doors.

Fantastic view; generously sized rooms; clean; good facilities; well decorated; comfortable beds. Quiet location, even though it's on the edge of a busy golf course there was no intrusion.

Brotton is a quiet village, close to other larger coastal towns. Perfectly situated for exploring on foot the NE coastline. A thriving village pub offering good quality food, booking is recommended, and a local shop for other bits you may need. There is a bus route through to Whitby one way and Redcar the other.
