There is lots to see & do in the area, a visit to Bletchley...
There is lots to see & do in the area, a visit to Bletchley Park or Blenheim Palace is a must or catch the park & ride in Oxford to visit the Ashmolean museum or a trip on the river Thames. We also had a great meal at The Grand Junction pub & restaurant, good food & helpful start, a great way to end a busy day.

At first I thought it didn’t have much to offer and felt...
At first I thought it didn’t have much to offer and felt that many of the old buildings had not been preserved well and the traffic was very busy in a very small area. Once I explored a bit more the history of the place and the pretty riverside walks improved my impression. The Old Gaol and Buckingham Parish church are worth a visit. There are loads of places to eat, I recommend The Grand Junction, Pregos and The Mey. There were some interesting independent traders too. A visit to Stowe Gardens outside the town is a must too.

The town has many pleasant buildings.
It is too quiet for my taste and there is enough to do for one half day only.
The White Hart is one of the best places to stay, but might be too noisy for some visitors.
Its a 40 minute drive to Bletchley Park which is a world class visitor attraction, very interesting and very well done.

I didn't have time to really explore on this visit.
I didn't have time to really explore on this visit. But the little driving around I did - whetted my appetite to return at some future point to explore the quaint looking villages and areas nearby. I think if you like quintessential 'England' then I think you will find examples of it here.

Was asked to pay a £50 deposit when checking in to cover the cost for drinks we could buy. After 11pm I ordered a drink and was told they couldn’t validate it so it was pointless. Lovely room at the front of the hotel although very noisy with the cars going past when trying to sleep. Will definitely book again but ask for a different room

The reception was fine looked great until I got to the room I stayed in. Staff generally are pleasant. My experience with the room and what I paid was just awful the room was dirty and not as described.

Where do I start? We booked the hotel simply because it had Aircon. However, it exceeded our expectations in every single aspect and we would not hesitate to recommend it. The staff were helpful, the food was good and well priced, breakfast was cooked to order and delicious. No greasy buffet, just exactly what we asked for.
The room was generously proportioned with a huge shower and everything was spotless.
The Aircon was extremely effective, particularly as we had had a long hot drive down to Buckingham.

the room and decor was sublime, the staff were extremely polite, talkative and helpful with any and all questions I had, made our stay very seamless and safe. Facilities were functional and of a good quality. Amazing location, with local amenities a step away from the hotel.
I would highly recommend a stay to anyone and will definitely be returning in the future

Convienient place to stay overnight. Darren was very friendly and acommodating and we could come and go as we please. The batbroom favilities were great and the bedroom was spacious and comfortable with a good tv with lots of channnels and apps. It was easy to walk into buckingham town centre for a few drinks
