Fabulously appointed self contained units with everything you could ask for! We particularly appreciated the mini fridge and fresh milk! Lovely little touches and great style. The bed is super comfortable and the shower room was perfect. We liked the environmentally.conscious approach! Brilliant!. We will be returning.... Breakfast delicious and plentiful, dinner equally impressive! Attentive and courteous staff.

Idyllic location in a quiet and extremely beautiful little town. It seemed we were transported to another century as we entered the manor. We stayed in a family room with two separate big bedrooms. The rooms were comfortable with high sealings. Also the bathroom was very spacious and nice with a window overlooking the courtyard. Breakfast was excellent! Thank you for the unforgettable stay!

I love this place. I visit every time I come to the UK. We stayed 2 nights in the decadent suite 23. It’s beautiful. We dined in the English restaurant which was some of the best comfort food I’ve ever eaten, had Thai massages, ole ty if amazing cocktails and then dinner at Bear which was sensational. It’s eccentric, orgasmic and incredibly unique. My favorite hotel in the UK by far.

It's a pleasant town, picturesque in places.

It's a pleasant town, picturesque in places. There is a good range of shops &c in the main streets and plenty of good to very good eating places. Boat trips of various types can be had where the main park adjoins the Thames, about 200 metres upstream of the Bridge. There is some short stay free car parking on streets and, that apart, there are several pay/display carparks.

High wycombe had a nice market square but that was the extent of the town, the rest was a bit run down, it had a very good shopping centre (eden), there were plenty of places to eat, the location was ideal for us to visit the local attractions (hell fire caves and hughenden house)

There is lots to see & do in the area, a visit to Bletchley Park or Blenheim Palace is a must or catch the park & ride in Oxford to visit the Ashmolean museum or a trip on the river Thames. We also had a great meal at The Grand Junction pub & restaurant, good food & helpful start, a great way to end a busy day.

Beaconsfield is a lovely small village which we enjoyed walking through with its own independent shops and restaurants. We then drove to Bourne End Marina which is the head of the River Thames and is stunning. Finally stopped at Marlow around lunchtime and was very impressed with this town, fab shops, restaurants and bars.

We went for a concert at the Waterside which is an amazing venue totally recommend. There seems to be a lot of nice restaurants around the town the ones we tried were very nice There is a small archaeological museum there which is well worth a visit The rest of the town had a bit of a scruffy feel the usual drinking and drug people and a bit unkempt. Bu as a Concert Venue I wold go back again even though its a bit of a pain to get there

Nice area with expensive houses.

Nice area with expensive houses. Good shopping with Tesco and Waitrose and many independent shops. You could easily live there without venturing too far, however, there was a good bus service and direct trains into London and ideal for Wembley football stadium if needed. Very safe place to walk around at any time of day or night.

Maybe good for back packers but not families as there’s nothing to do , only one Nepaleses lady who seemed nice but her English wasn’t the best so it was difficult to ask her anything as she said she’d only been there for 3 weeks and seemed like she’d not left the premises as she didn’t even know where the nearest town was
