Nice renovation done to an older care facility. We were met and taken to our room which was a good size with all we needed. You can see that the couple doing the upgrade are doing it well. Very pleasant chat to the owner. Would recommend if you need a reasonable price and location for Port Isaac(We are Doc Martin fans so it was all in all a pleasant experience)

Small market town, two clubs and a pub.

Small market town, two clubs and a pub. None of them serve food. A shop and Post Office down the bottom and a CO-op up the hill. A lovely park to walk around beside the river Camel. A good place to stay as fairly central to everything in North Cornwall. There are buses but you need to check before travelling.

Great little town.

Great little town. The best pasty shop and fish and chips, also good Nepalese restaurant. Pretty area and great base for Tintagel, Boscastle, Port Isaac and trekking on Bodmin Moor. Also easy access to A30 for links to further South. Thoroughly enjoyed the stay.

We loved having a whole self-contained flat to ourselves. It was quiet and Poppy is a very friendly host. The bathroom is nice and spacious with bath and shower but could do with better lighting and a larger mirror.

As a Camelfordian I return annually to attend the service held on or close to Remembrance Day in early November. The Countryman Hotel(I know it under it's previous name Sunnyside Hotel) is welcoming and a very restful place to stay. Thank you

We stayed in the apartment with kitchen and it really had all the comfort we needed. It is a well equipped accommodation, with a super comfortable couch and chair so you can also enjoy an indoor moment when the British weather does not allow you to enjoy the ample outdoor activities in Cornwall. The hosts are both very friendly. We were welcomed with a nice cup of tea and the host volunteered to tell us more about the area and things to do. The are where the B&B is located is beautiful. We would definitely recommend this place.

Lovely quiet and peaceful location, really well appointed with everything thought of. Finished to a very high standard and everything made clear and easy from collecting the keys to Cornwalls degree level recycling system. Good offstreet parking area making unpacking/packing safe and easy. Could not have asked for more.

The breakfast was excellent. Good choice, well cooked and more than enough to eat. I always use this hotel when I travel to the area, because I know how good it is. I couldn't get a proper signal on the TV, but I think that was probably because of the weather conditions during my stay.
