Great stop for us on bicycle trip as the owner and the property were welcoming and relaxing. Room was nice and spacious. We were able to use the well equipped kitchen to prepare our dinner and have breakfast the next morning. It’s just off National Cycle Route 4 on the ridge, so convenient stopover.

Me and my partner were amazed when we arrived !! It’s absolutely perfect we could not find one fault !! Spotless clean !! So comfy and cozy and warm and romantic, very spacious, the perfect little get away, I wished we stayed longer, they provide everything you need including cooking facilities oven trays things like that, it really was like a home away from Home, left a lovely little welcome note on the chalk board too, they put the heater on so it was nice and warm when we got there, as it was freezing cold and raining outside, they have a tv with Netflix and everything needed on it too, Theres games and books in there they provide towels and shampoo and shower gels, and the bed was so comfy!! And the view of the place is stunning 😍😍 surrounded my countryside, so peaceful, they left us tea cakes too Wich was a lovely gesture, you can also get uber delivery from shops or food places here, we ordered from sainsburys on uber eats whilst we was there as there’s no shops local

Unfortunately we did not have time to visit Laugharne and LLanstephan on this trip but have enjoyed visiting these 2 locations in the past. The sandy beaches of Pembrokeshire and the Preseli hills are also well worth a visit.

Unfortunately town didnt have many interesting shops or facilities. Most places closed when we got there at 4pm on Tuesday. Not many restaurants either had to travel elsewhere to celebrate my birthday. Cane for show at the theatre. Probably wouldnt stay there for a holiday.

The town itself didn't have much to recommend it so far as we could see. However we didn't do much sightseeing in town so could have missed the best bits! Our trip was to visit the National Botanic Centre and that is certainly worth a look, and very easy to get to from Carmarthern.

Carmarthen itself I love, although there's been a lot of changes since I last came down 25 years ago(which is to be expected!). It's still an interesting town centre with a great variety of shops while still retaining a lot of its character and history through it's architecture and inhabitants. The Carmarthenshire countryside is stunning!

Lovely place to stay, very tidy and comfortable. Scenery very beautiful and host very friendly. BnB ideal place for Carmathern town only 10 to 12 min drive, lots of shops, supermarkets and a cinema here. Beaches are less than an hour from hotel. One is 20mins away. We went to relax and enjoyed our quiet evenings. TV has apps so you can watch your fav programs, ie Netflix, BBCiplayer and others.

The Spilman Hotel was in a great location. Yes to get into the car park is narrow but it was well marked before we arrived and the video on their website was a great help so we knew exactly what to expect so it was no issue for us at all - Staff were lovely and breakfast was fab! We also had a great recommendation for dinner 👍

We enjoyed the bar, clean and hot showers, and the possibility to check in late at night. The owner/bartender is a great man who traveled the world and gave great recommendations for our travels around Wales. We would love to stay again!
