We stayed at this hotel for our wedding night and had a lovely experience. Our room was beautiful, clean, and the bed was incredibly comfortable, making it the perfect place to relax after our special day. The spa facilities were very good and we really enjoyed using them, although we feel that certain areas could benefit from a little refresh and updating. Breakfast was enjoyable with a good selection of food, and what really stood out was the wonderful staff. Everyone was so friendly, welcoming, and attentive, which made our stay even more memorable. Overall, we had a lovely stay and would happily recommend this hotel for a special occasion or a relaxing getaway.

Before I arrived, Duncan was seeing to every detail that could bring comfort and ease after a long day of travel. Upon arrival, he had arranged a platter with my food sensitivities in mind that was delivered to my room so I could settle in. Every detail from the comfort of the bed to the beauty of the color and art throughout the house, the warmth of the dining room, the views, calming and serene that surround the house has been considered. Craig and Duncan could not have been more attentive and charming throughout my stay. Breakfast and coffee alone is worth the visit. I was greeted one morning with a full English breakfast for me and a friend who'd come to visit. The next morning was just as good with a delicious omelette, yoghurt and berries. There are inviting sitting areas throughout and around the house good for working, socializing or reading. Taxis were arranged throughout my stay making it easy to go see things in the area and there is much to see and enjoy. The experience is unlike any I've had at an Inn or bed and breakfast. The stay at Kingsley House is something else that has its own category where attending to the traveler's interests and needs is priority within a most calming and beautiful environment.

The Buffet at breakfast was very good with a variety of choice. however, I do think that teas and coffees should be served in teapots and coffee containers instead of self service. It would also be nice for toast to be served instead of having to wait in line to use the toaster.

Haslemere is a lovely town surrounded by gorgeous countryside. It's very "hilly" so wear comfortable shoes if you're walking around. Be careful if you're driving as there are sharp bends and steep inclines.

I visited family, and I know Haslemere well from decades ago. It is a pretty town and there are miles of glorious countryside surrounding it. The hotel is most convenient for rail travel being opposite the station.

Haslemere and surrounds is a lovely area.

Haslemere and surrounds is a lovely area. There are many small shops, eateries, a few charity shops, and a couple of supermarkets within walking distance from the Harper's, and the people are friendly. Also handy to train (directly across the road), for exploring further afield. A recommendation would be to also take the train to Portsmouth and enjoy a hovercraft ride across the solent to Ryde, and explore the Isle of White by opentop buses. As mentioned in my review of Harper's, it cost GBP92 return for 2 people (train and hovercraft combined). Opentop and other buses payable separately on the island. In previous years (2018) we also went to the hovercraft museum (only open Saturdays as far as I recall). Another place worthwhile visiting, particularly if on a budget, is the maritime museum at Portsmouth, as there is a lot to see at no cost. The Swan Inn in Haslemere (pictured) is also a good and fairly priced place to dine.

The rooms were clean and tidy , shower and toilet were efficient. The complex is spread out over a large area outside so you do not necessarily stay in the main part of the hotel so this means to use the spa you have to walk outside past the main hotel. Not a big problem if the weather is OK but a bit inconvenient if the weather is wet or cold. Spa is in a nice complex but it could do with a makeover, such things as tiles falling off the walls and the sauna could do with some attention. Be careful of the service charge at dinner, they will charge 12% and do not mention it on the menu. Hence we skipped dinner on the second night and went into Haslemere where there are some nice restaurants and pubs.

Should have bean told of the refurbishment and the closed restaurant before we turned up. Contacted the hotel separately and still only got a reply on the Monday of the stay, stating Tudor restaurant closed with full menu at Collina restaurant. For which was incorrect. It will be lovely when finished.

The stay was so cozy and relaxing and very very clean, to be honest was way beyond our expectations. The staff are so friendly and made us feel so welcome and were always there to answer any inquiries we had. The food was so tasty and we were super surprise because I am very picky eater and very hard to please, We had the best fish and chips ever, the following morning I requested breakfast in bed which they offer in the hotel and that was so good. To be honest the price was to low and it deserves to be more, I have stayed in 5 star hotels and paid fortune and still not satisfied. If your passing thru the area please don’t think twice. I will definitely go back. harper's haslemere thank you for making our stay welcoming and enjoyable.

The location was very convenient for visiting beautiful Haslemere. The staff were friendly and the restaurant and bar were both lovely. I particularly liked the cosy seating areas with fireplace-style heaters near the bar areas. My room was very spacious and comfortable and the shower was excellent! I also liked being able to park off street behind the hotel.

Such a lovely experience from check in to check out. Friendly staff, lovely room, breakfast good. Room was comfortable, quiet, well equipped and we had patio doors onto an outside area. I loved the variety of wild meadow flowers growing there. I could not improve this hotel.

Lovely spa and restaurant, very impressive. Particularly impressed with restaurant staff, who were friendly and professional (even when there were restaurant guests who were particularly rude towards them). Hotel pleasant, room a good size and comfy bed.

The staff were all very welcoming, warm and polite. Breakfast was a choice of continental or to order (full English, waffles, etc). The granola and jam yoghurt and the waffles were great! The hotel was in good condition and seemed recently refurbished.
