Beautiful property with a llama farm next door. The room was beautiful and had all the amenities you could need. Bed and linens were comfortable and everything was spotlessly clean. Breakfast was amazing- best avocado toast I’ve ever had. Great coffee. Lovely staff. What more could you ask for?

The wife and I loved everything at the Thorpe Guesthouse in Hemingford. Location is superb, in the beautiful rural Cambridgeshire, the hosts were friendly and the room was simply exceptional: huge, comfortable bed, spotless, clean bathroom, and the place is so quiet, what a lovely place and a lovely weekend getaway!

Beautiful, clean, warm, modern apartment with basic kitchen equipment microwave, toaster, kettle, cutlery, dinnerware, pots and pans including a washing machine. Ensuite bathroom with towels; amazing shower facilities with gels and soaps. Lovely fresh sheets and a comfortable mattress. Very close to Huntingdon shopping centre with shops and restaurants. Key code instructions very simple to understand and operate. Ample free parking. This is a lovely cosy accommodation, one of the best I have stayed in (and I have high standards) and the host is punctual with responses and very kind and helpful. Thank you.

I regularly use your HOTELS, and the fact that it was just a small weekend getaway it was perfect. Marriott Bonfoy Huntingdon has some spectacular grounds very relaxing and calming Beautiful especially when the room is nice.

Huntingdon has a lovely little Saturday market with vegan options, there are plenty of shops to walk around and all the usual outlets eg B&Q, Dunhelm, Pets at Home -very useful for us a few mins by car. There is a park in the centre of the town and a dog walking area. I think it is quite flat, no hills, so walking is not a problem and there is a good pedestrian area with lots of cafes in which to sit and watch the world go by. It is 8+ miles to St Neots, a beautiful little town with the river running through it. Perfect for a visit.

rouad to hotel needs a map it is a bit convoluted good place to eat not too fancy and reasonable pricing, casual dressing acceptable in hotel we made the hotel a base for looking around a wider area which was handy

We came to join an old friends 90th. birthday party.

We came to join an old friends 90th. birthday party. Our first time in Huntington. It's a nice old town with many old buildings. We enjoyed the interesting Cromwell museum. We also went to Cambridge for the day. It had a nice little market.

Huntingdon is a beautiful English town.

Huntingdon is a beautiful English town. We have been several times and whilst like many towns, there are elements that require an upgrade but, tourism can support this….keep going for the lovely parks and walks by the river, the historic buildings and of course Oliver Cromwell to whom there is a dedicated museum….we also found the staff really friendly and welcoming…

A quiet location now with enough facilities still to make it a good location to stay and use as a base whilst visiting other sites. There are a lot of historical sites in and around the town but no attempt has been made to advertise them although a money seems to have been spent displaying Oliver Cromwell. A free photocopy-able guide to the town history plus the riverside and common walks would be nice. A town has been in this location since Roman times and had a Norman castle. There was talk of a Saxon \ Viking site on the common? Pathfinder headquarters was here during WW2

In a world of Holiday Inns, Premier Inns, and Marriotts it is nice to find something with a little character. Are the fittings and furnishing brand new? Absolutely not. Do the bar and room have character and the required amenities for an overnight stay? Absolutely. I was greeted by name as I was the last to check in, a nice personal touch, and despite the bar being incredibly busy due to quiz night there was no noise to be heard from the room. Bed was comfortable, bathroom was functional, breakfasts was incredible.

Where possible we try to stay in properties with character and this one has plenty. It’s not pristine and could do with some tlc but it provided everything we needed. The bed was super comfy, the shower was hot and powerful and every single member of staff we encountered were brilliant. The hotel is in the centre of town and has car parking at the rear. We were late back from a cycling event but the duty manager kept the kitchen open for us giving us chance to shower and change.
