The hostess was exceptional. She met us at the house and surprised us with a welcoming package, also with milk in the fridge and other considerate extra touches. So warm and welcoming that you felt that you were coming back home to visit your family. We will definitely be back.

Fabulous breakfast! Accommodating options for dinner especially when one comes without wheels so can only eat in town. Lovely room. A treat to have tea & coffee (plus biscuits) available at any time. Should I ever find myself returning to this area, I won't hesitate to stay here again.

The staff and guests were friendly, and very helpful, and genuinely nice in my view. Good people and a good place. Plenty of charm. The grounds were gorgeous. The spa facility and staff were exceptional.

Lovely location in a quiet street off the main town. Secure private parking. Host was fantastic, helpful, friendly, nothing too much trouble. His art work is amazing. Breakfast was delicious, plenty of options. Room was large, clean and very comfortable.

The cottage was immaculately clean and beautifully furnished. It was spacious and had the added bonus of having lovely rare birds and goats nearby , which my daughter loved. It was lovely and quiet and just what we needed whilst we were visiting family who are local to the area.

if you want to switch off and have a relaxing time then this...

if you want to switch off and have a relaxing time then this is the place. However, beware that it is a small village, no shop, a good pub but this is only open in the evening so you will need to drive to other places if you want shops, things to explore, museums etc.

We liked the proximity to a lot of interesting places to...

We liked the proximity to a lot of interesting places to visit. The location was perfect and the cottages were well set out. The time slots for use of the pool for each cottages was a really good system. We really liked the grounds the properties were set in.
