United KingdomAlthough we couldn't check in when agreed we were upgraded to a 2 bedroom cottage which was lovely, clean, warm and comfy. Host and hostess we very friendly. They also allowed us to bring food from outside into the bar.

Wild meadow camping. Amazing little place.
Wild meadow camping. Amazing little place. Kept deliberately small, its a peaceful, very pretty campsite. Lots of privacy. Unlike most places that pack people on like sardines this place has pitches with lots of space and distance between pitches. There are a couple of stunning lil cabins there are bell tents to rent if you dont want to bring your own tent or like me too old to erect my own tent I stayed in the fisherman cabin that was stunning and was considering trying to claim squatters rights. That was a joke however I really did not want to leave. Close to 3 great beaches. 10 mins to New Quay and yet when on the site its so peaceful you could be literally anywhere. CANT WAIT TO COME BACK

The kind of space that gives city boys like me a an accidental and unexpected fresh perspective, on a business trip. Really romantic countryside and some of the friendliest people I've ever met. The hype about the Fish and Chips is no smoke!

Unless you have a specific agenda, there is not actually a lot to do in Pencader itself. When we were there, the pub had been closed so you had to drive or walk a long distance to sample a pub experience. Surrounding areas are beautiful and you are approximately 25 minutes away from beaches(New Quay for dolphin watching), if that is your thing. The School House garden was a good place to sit in the late evening.

Location was perfect just a short drive to the local village. Clean and quiet. Locals were friendly and welcoming - plenty of different places to visit locally or within an hour drive from visiting the butterfly house, an informative visit of the slate mines, boat tour to see the dolphins in New Quay and the seals in Cardigan Bay

Loved it all! Gorgeous place! It felt remote but there is a village just 5 mins away with a shop/chippy etc.
The log burner was a clincher I'd say, just made it so cosy. A beautiful part of Wales - great area to explore. We were visiting friends near Llandysul. The area is lovely.

The room was very good for what it was, a pub hotel in a small country town. The room was warm and spacious. The beds were comfy, and there was a nice big bathroom. The staff are friendly and flexible. We really appreciated the late checkout. Thanks!

Lovely hillside cabin overlooking the river and Llandysul.
2 min drive from the town. Very clean and well appointed.
Really enjoyed the stay. Hosts are very friendly and so very helpful. Already booked to stay there again.

Absolutely loved staying at the Hive, it was perfect and the bed was so comfortable. We wish Joe we book Elton stay the whole time we were in emlyn rather that the hotel for the wedding
