The staff is awesome, attentive and lovely all the times! The hotel is an old house, but very beautiful, near the beach front. The room is small, but very cosy. So is the bathroom. We had a pleasant night. The hotel has a pub and à restaurant, which was great for us, as we had a long day driving with rain at time of arrival ( it was already dark). They have parking as well. We recommend the hotel.

A small ancient town on the coast overlooking St Michael’s...

A small ancient town on the coast overlooking St Michael’s Mount. Easy access to the island and long sandy beach. A few shops selling ice cream, pasties and gifts. Easy travel distance from Penzance by car or bus. It is important to check the web site if you want to visit St Michael’s Mount , for information, tickets etc.

Marazion was very beautiful with St Michael's Mount, the beach for a swim, shops and the restaurants all in walking distance and it felt safe. So handy to travel to Lands End, Lizard Point and Padstow to enjoy Rick Stein Restaurant.

Loved Marazion , my daughter’s and my first big road trip.

Loved Marazion , my daughter’s and my first big road trip. So much to see in this ancient town. The locals were warm and welcoming. The food was fantastic. It’s was beautiful to look at, the houses, shops, churches and scenery. A really lovely experience. We were already planning our return before we left!! St Michael’s Mount was cool too!

Beautiful location but unfortunately is a magnet for visitors and so obviously becomes very very busy during school holidays in particular. Out of season is great loved the beach scenery and shops particularly the galleries . Public transport great bus to Lenses and train to St Ives very easy clean and efficient

Marazion is a lovely quiet place (we did go Oct half term) I...

Marazion is a lovely quiet place (we did go Oct half term) I think it would get busier in high season. Marazion has a few shops and a pub. If getting away from the crowds at St Ives and enjoying scenery and beautiful Cornish landscapes are of interest - this is the place for you. If you need a bigger shop - drive to Penzance for supermarkets and re-filling fuel. We parked at Penzance and travelled by train from Penzance along coastal Trainline to St Ives to avoid the traffic and parking at St Ives. We did not drive and park to St Michael’s Mount or got the ferry. We walked from the site and enjoyed the local shops - Philips famous Cornish pasties can be bought here, and walking along the causeway to St Michael’s Mount. Check the tide times and best time to walk across before you make your way - or use the paid ferry. It is best to walk from the campsite if you are able- the roads can be narrow and can be difficult to navigate with buses and parked cars / 20 mph. Lovely friendly local people - and gorgeous location. We used the swimming pool at the site practically every day after a day out sight seeing - which was a treat.

Superb view of St Michaels Mount.

Superb view of St Michaels Mount. Beach was nice to walk on - but very windy when we were there. No free parking but only £2 after 6pm. Godolphin pub was good. We went in the beach bar. Nice beer (Tribute) and food looked good. Roads very narrow - almost got taken out by a double decker bus so care required. Quite close to large supermarkets

Lovely room with an amazing view. Bed very comfortable, nice spacious bathroom. Breakfast was excellent, plenty of choice. Lovely cooked breakfast, choice of cereals, toast, yoghurt, fruit etc. Nice little car park to the back of the property. We left the car there during our stay and walked into Marazion for food and St Michaels Mount. A lovely stay.

The location was right in the middle of Marazion walkable to beach, Sainsbury’s and other supermarkets a short drive away for provisions as no local store within Marazion. The apartment was well equipped in the kitchen and towels were provided. Parking which was a must for us.
