Great location. Interesting rustic building. Great atmospjjere. .Friendly and interesting hosts who were clearly committed to making their guests feel comfortable.

The rooms were comfortable. The location was just very central. The hotel ambience was quite nice.

I am not very original in my reviews so I will go with the classics: very comfortable beds (also full size, which is quite rare in the UK), everything is very clean, the toiletries from L'Occitane are always a nice touch. The food at the restaurant is also very tasty, especially the breakfast.

Lots of charm and character. Well maintained. Friendly staff.

The hotel was lovely, even in the mid November rain. The apartment we stayed in was great & more spacious than we expected. It was also wonderfully warm, as the temperature fell over the weekend The receptionist on Sunday evening/Monday morning was exceptionally helpful

We liked the size of our room and the large bed that was in there.

Beautiful property, felt more like home than a hotel. The towels were the best I have used in 40 years of traveling! The staff was exceptionally friendly and accommodating. Beds were comfortable and enjoyed a peaceful sleep. Perfect spot for seeing a show at RSC. And the grounds were beautiful. I can’t wait to stay there again!

Well located, just a couple of minutes walk from the center. Parking onsite and nice welcome. Good sized and comfortable room, great breakfast, enjoyed having the bar. Large garden out front which was perfect for the dog's needs. Very enjoyable stay and would happily return.

This place was adorable, great location, and attached to an amazing restaurant - with vegan options! The staff was friendly and even recommended spots for breakfast. The room had everything we needed, we enjoyed our stay!

The hotel was beautiful and very clean. The pool and spa were lovely. Lots of choice at breakfast even for vegetarians. Hotel made our anniversary extra special with vouchers for the bar. Great stay!

The room was very comfortable and had a wonderful view of the topiary garden. The meals were excellent.

This is an exceptional hotel in a great location. Old historic building with contemporary extension to rear, focused around a nice courtyard garden. Our room was lovely with quirky, individual decor and very comfy beds. The breakfast was great with a full range and locally sourced. Great location within the town centre but with parking if arriving by car.

Everything .. location was excellent , although some walls needed decorating it didn’t spoil our stay
