Mike is very hospitable and welcoming. Very responsive on arrival and makes you feel well looked after. Room was very comfortable. Food always available in the kitchen if you needed snacks and breakfast. Nice dining area too where you can just about see the sea and outside seats by the horses.

The rooms were nice and very quiet. Gardens was beautiful, got Netflix and prime free off charge in the rooms along with a fridge and microwave. Which was handy being a hot day. Breakfast was lovely and overall I would definitely stay there again.

What Guests Said About Minster:

4 of us booked into the Abbey Motel.

4 of us booked into the Abbey Motel. Our plan was to meet up & spend time with other friends staying nearby in Minster over the weekend. Our accommodation was convenient for this, but that's all. We enjoyed a very nice lunch at Bosun's in Queenborough followed by live music at a nearby pub. Luckily we had cars, or it could have been difficult to get around, especially to The Plough Inn near Teynham where we had dinner. Food there was excellent, although a good 45 minute drive each way. We had a couple of walks along the sea walls, too.

Never been to Minster before.

Never been to Minster before. The promenade, part of the King Charles III England Coastal Path, was a very pleasant, flat, and safe place to stroll. Few facilities. Just one beach front 'cafe' within approx 2 mile length. Water quality good if you wanted to swim. Plenty of seating along the prom. Beach reasonable for families - bring your own chairs!

A revisit.

A revisit. I wanted so see Shurland Court and a wonderful church with oil lamps at Harty. Minster and Eastchurch have attractive churches. Not much at Sheerness but the harbour fortifications are worth a look. Good birdlife at Harty Marshes (saw Marsh Harriers hunting)

There is a beautiful promenade with fantastic public toilets that are very clean. Plenty of seats on the grassy slopes to admire the wonderful views of the sea and coastline. Stunning houses line the road opposite the beach.

Minster has a lovely pebble beach and very calm water to swim in. There is not a lot of choice for food and the nearest shop is a long walk (uphill) from the seafront. However, there is a small kiosk for tea, coffee, milkshakes and ice cream - perfect beach for a day trip when taking a picnic. We stayed in a nearby hotel and ordered fish and chips delivery which was lovely as we travelled with a toddler and couldn't go out in the evening.
