The cottage was charming, spotless, had a washer/dryer and host left a lot of handy items such as milk, coffee, tea and cookies as well as cleaning supplies for the washing. Also, a binder with lots of great suggestions on where to go and what to do. Beds were comfy, hangers provided and shower was great.

Access was simple and easy. The little flat was indeed cheerful, with calm and functional furnishings. It had all I needed for a few day's break and was in such a good position on the edge of the village.

The staff is awesome, attentive and lovely all the times! The hotel is an old house, but very beautiful, near the beach front. The room is small, but very cosy. So is the bathroom. We had a pleasant night. The hotel has a pub and à restaurant, which was great for us, as we had a long day driving with rain at time of arrival ( it was already dark). They have parking as well. We recommend the hotel.

The property is very cute and functional, providing a full...

The property is very cute and functional, providing a full range of facilities to make for a comfortable stay. It is quaint but modern and the owner is very friendly. The property was right in Mousehole and within walking distance of Newlyn and Penzance, although there is also the bus service. It was close to walks across the countryside, through fields and over stiles. There are a number of good cafes and restaurants in Mousehole and the people are very friendly. If you are driving, the harbour has easy parking (10 euro for 24 hours) within easy reach of the property.

Beautiful village lots of walks close by, good bus services for exploring Penzance marizion st Ives. The deli cafe right on the front in Mousehole and No 42 restaurant outstanding food. Coastguard rock pool cafe also little gems worth a visit for sure. Finally the ship pub a perfect little pub

Always try to visit whenever we’re in Cornwall, returning...

Always try to visit whenever we’re in Cornwall, returning from the Scillies on a Saturday evening seemed the ideal opportunity to stay in Mousehole for a couple of nights before returning home to the midlands. Enjoyed fish & chips on Saturday evening then dined at The Ship on Sunday, perfect end to our holiday.

Mousehole was delightful. It’s a charming little village. Amazing views No2 Fore St served a superb meal. Amazing. Especially if you like fish. Go prepared. There isn’t a store in the village. Newlyn is where the nearest shop is. For someone like myself who struggles to get around everywhere seemed to be UP! But I wouldn’t have missed it for the world. Thank you Mousehole.

Quaint little place, a few good options for eating out, and a great deli. Loved the vegan Orange Grove Cafe. The harbour is very pretty and there are buses to Penzance every 20 minutes. The only downside for us was that there’s nowhere much to walk dogs without hiking up steep hills, and the small areas of ‘beach’ where dogs are allowed are basically just boulders so very difficult to walk on.

Lovely little village with the harbour being the main focus...

Lovely little village with the harbour being the main focus for swimmers, paddle boarders and fishing. Good for water sport enthusiasts and families with young children who can build sandcastle and paddle.

What a stunning cottage in the most perfect location! The cottage is characterful yet fully kitted out with all the modern conveniences. The kitchen is spacious with everything you need to prepare meals, and the fact there are two full bathrooms is a huge bonus. It's a two minute walk to the harbour and in the heart of beautiful Mousehole. Keith is a brilliant and responsive host. I'd highly recommend Penzer cottage for your stay in Mousehole.

Excellent facilities, comfortable beds and only a few metres from the pretty and picturesque Mousehole harbour. The house is spacious and clean. Kitchen exceptionally well equipped. Upstairs bathroom has a bath and separate shower cubicle. Also downstairs toilet. We had a wonderful time. Met the owners, who were friendly and helpful. They left us scones, jam and cornish clotted which were delicious.

What a beautiful little cottage. I think it must have been done up quite recently - everything being lovely, clean and new. The location could not be better if you are after a stay in the cute little village of Mousehole. A quirky cottage but with modern design.
