The staff is very friendly. We traveled by bike, and they made sure our bikes were stored safely. The rooms are nice, big, and clean. Value-for-money wise, this is a no-brainer when staying in the area. We would advise taking the delicious breakfast!

This well-run location is an absolute gem and I'd be delighted to be able to stay again sometime in the future. The rooms were well equipped and spacious, the dining and breakfast experience were exceptional and the bar was well stocked and staffed to boot! My partner and I were both pleasantly surprised by this upscale venue and felt very well looked after by the friendly and obliging staff throughout our stay. What a sweet and welcoming experience! Sarah and Huge are amazing hosts who make you feel as though you were staying with old friends, whether you are chatting in the huge farmhouse kitchen or relaxing in the lounge. The bed is very comfortable and there’s plenty of hot water. Mind you, the bedrooms are upstairs, so be aware if you have mobility issues. The breakfasts are wonderful, seriously! You won’t leave hungry! They are also very flexible. We needed an extra night and they were easily able to accommodate our needs. They have friendly pups, so be aware.
