The staff is awesome, attentive and lovely all the times! The hotel is an old house, but very beautiful, near the beach front. The room is small, but very cosy. So is the bathroom. We had a pleasant night. The hotel has a pub and à restaurant, which was great for us, as we had a long day driving with rain at time of arrival ( it was already dark). They have parking as well. We recommend the hotel.

Amazing location, my room was actually right by the estuary with the water lapping at the veranda at high tide, fyi some rooms don't actually face the estuary. Nice to be woken by the honking of Canada geese (it was quiet honking as the double glazing does work).

Loved it and it was really easy to catch a train to St.

Loved it and it was really easy to catch a train to St. Ives. Everything is nearby and lands end isn't far. It's an ideal location. There is an Asda in Hayle, fab Pastie shop and lovely Fish and chips. Paradise Park is close by and Hardy Exotics. Some of the nicest beaches. Everyone is friendly and has a chat. The area is slow paced which is great for a restful holiday.

A great location with easy parking from which to visit the popular visitor attractions in Cornwall. Good bus & rail connections to St Ives, Marazion, Penzance etc The lovely village has a local pub and a village shop (open until 7pm). There’s a riverside path alongside a nature park and children’s playground. There’s a weekly farmers’ market at the church hall which was a joy. Local people selling their home grown produce and hand crafted gifts. Had a delicious & very generous Sunday roast at the Packet Inn, Rosudgeon, Penzance. There’s live music there on Sunday afternoons on the sun terrace. The Thai restaurant on St Ives seafront Talay Thai kitchen serves the most tasty food and very generous portions. Praa sands is a beautiful beach and a great place to watch the surfers and there’s parking even in peak season

St Erth is very convenient for travel in all directions and on direct and frequent train and bus routes to Hayle, Penzanne and St Ives, including Coaster bus service which does a circular route through St Erth, Penzance, Lands End, St Ives, St Erth. All day bus pass was good value. It was so convenient to get the local transport and avoid parking in the busy local towns with their narrow streets or having to drive down very narrow country lanes. Very helpful for doing linear coastal walks.

Not far to the train station and cheap tickets. To get to st Ives without worrying about driving or parking. Not far to go to Penzance and get the ferry to the isle of scilly. Plenty of places to eat and to get pasties from.

Ideal place to stay just outside Penzance and St Ives.

Ideal place to stay just outside Penzance and St Ives. Very close to Great Western Railway park and ride £4.10 per day to park. Need to add railfare, currently £3.50 for single fare into Penzance, but does save a lot of exasperation trying to drive into Penzance town centre.

44Trevithick is St.Erth, but not mentioned when booking, it is on the John Fowler Tolroy Manor Holiday Park. Didn't mind as Store was convenient, Pub/Club & sports facilities useful. Maybe an advantage to mention it ? Kitchen is top notch, so easy to cook. (Although only 2 pan lids fitted lol). Tried to keep eating out cost down. Didn't really go into St Erth itself ,I think.(If we did then I missed it lol). Used Hayle for Asda ,fish & chips & The Royal Standard Inn for a drink & poker on Monday night. Hayle has a quaint little harbour. St. Ives obviously beautiful but well visited. Boat rides alittle pricey, but good.
