I really had no preconceived notion about this property. I was just looking for inexpensive two room lodging. Very surprised with this property! Lovely Pub and restaurant, great food! Breakfast was excellent. Rooms were clean and cozy.

The property was very clean, very cosy and warm, very family friendly, beds were extremely comfortable (we looked at the mattress to purchase ourselves it was that comfortable) and we felt like we were home from the moment we walked in. Also we were very grateful for the choice of teas, coffee's on offer plus the well equipped kitchen (cutlery, cleaning products). Also the onsite park/playground (which was very nice) made our 4 year olds stay even more exciting as it was a 20 second walk from our doorstep 👍

Perfect, peaceful location. David made us feel totally at home. Place was spotlessly clean and totally comfortable. Can't fault anything about the place. Will definitely be back.

The Golf Course is the main reason we go here; it is a hidden gem and a superb test of your game. The people there are so friendly and welcoming to you from start to finish, if you have not played it then definitely arrange it. We went to The Balmoral Pub for dinner, which was excellent and again the staff were attentive and friendly. We watched England beat Mexico in there, so overall it was a great night.

Lovely area!

Lovely area! Lots of history that we learned while there, there are plenty information boards along the walk on the lovely prom that teaches the history of Siloth. Also, is only a 40 minute drive to Carlisle if you want to visit there, we did and loved the castle there and the shopping!

It was a red hot bank holiday weekend but we were only able to stay one night. Silloth was setting up for its carnival and we enjoyed the local crafts, stalls and rides etc. It was really nice to see new businesses open and others that had been refurbished. Now in my 50’s, I have enjoyed holidays and weekends in Silloth since I was a baby, going every year, sometimes more than once. I have seen Silloth go from a bustling holiday destination in the 80’s and 90’s then becoming quite run down. It’s great to see people now flocking there and the Town improving and businesses thriving. It has a special place in my heart.

An interesting planned resort which is very different from anywhere else on the Cumberland coast. Historically interesting. The town is separated from the sea by a wide Green. Great sunsets over the Solway Firth facing Scotland.

Wow what a lovely place to stay! Been coming up to Silloth for over 20 years to see my grandad, but now have a young family and needed more room. What a homely venue, really felt like a home away from home. So close to all facilities in the town and the place it self was gorgeous. Thank you, and we will be coming again :)

It was absolutely beautiful, quirky, and beautiful original features, with a modern twist, sat on the beautiful sofa situated in the bedroom drinking wine, looking out into the stunning gardens, it’s a 10 minute taxi ride into silloth, well worth it !
