Beautiful and peaceful location with incredible, kind staff and lovely food.

Nice place and close to where I was working. Booking.com accidentally charged me twice for the room and the staff took care of it. Will definitely book here next time I am working in the area.

Absolutely loved our stay here. They are very pet friendly (but also have areas where pets cannot go, which is very fair). I cannot recommend the old court enough, the views around are so lovely and picturesque, the breakfast was delicious. We went back for lunch and they were pretty busy but made an effort to sit our group of 6 which was very much appreciated. Sunday roast was delicious, a few people ordered lasagna and which they said was delicious. All the staff were so friendly and accommodating, thank you!

Fantastic establishment located in a lovely village. We had a fantastic lunch as well as a great stay. The staff were really helpful and we would not hesitate to return.

Beautifully maintained, historical

The Speech House was everything an old English Inn should be. The food is outstanding, and the staff are so accommodating. It may only be rated as a 3 star hotel, but my stay there really felt like a luxury stay. The location is right in the heart of the Forest with several walks available directly from the hotel. The famous Puzzlewood is just a short 10 minute drive.

Staff was great, very friendly & accommodating. Food was amazing. Huge portions. Room was nice. Locals in the pub were fun.
