What Guests Said About Streatley:

I never get tired of Streatley and Goring, facing each other as they do on opposite banks of the Thames. Streatley's main street down to the bridge is flanked by an intriguing array of flint and brick houses that look as if they've been there forever. Beyond them is a panoply of hills and woods reaching high into the downs. For those who like to explore such terrain - whether as walkers, golfers, riders or boaters - there is surely no more enticing a prospect. Apart from The Swan and the Bull Inn in Streatley, the community has several places on the Goring side offering food and beverages. Goring also has the railway station, with connections to Reading and elsewhere.

Lovely village , great pubs , the cafe on the bridge was excellent and the curry house exceptional . Beautiful walks along the river and the walk up Goring gap was fun with birds of prey above . Basildon park and living rainforest 10 minutes drive away . So a great spot to stay

The room was amazing with great views over the Thames, and the service was so nice and polite. If you want to stay for a couple of days to disconnect and be surrounded by nature, this is a place you should visit.

The staff are the best asset of this hotel.

The staff are the best asset of this hotel. All were very friendly and accommodating and eager to help you if you had a difficulty. The rooms are beautiful and nicely decorated and put together and the hotel offers rooms of different sizes and prices. The setting for eating breakfast and dinner is lovely - when I booked my rooms I thought it was a little pricey but it was worth it as you get a lovely experience that other such hotels may miss. I may have struck lucky with the staff working on the days I was there but I couldn’t fault them. I will stay there again.

This is a lovely place by the River Thames. The accommodation is very comfortable and the room had a nice outlook. Accommodation is reasonably priced but the meal and bar are a little more expensive than they should be. Staff are lovely and a great credit to management.

Karen runs a lovely farmhouse B&B in a great location which is really nicely appointed, with super comfortable beds and the service provided is excellent. Her attention to detail for the guests is very thoughtful and considerate of everyone's needs. My Wife is gluten intolerant and Karen arranged Gluten free breakfast options to be available for her. The Breakfasts are amazing! I would high recommend this place to anyone visiting the Goring/Streatley area. Thanks for the amazing Stay Karen!

The location was perfect - just at the edge of the village but well within walking distance of both Streatley and Goring. Beautiful farmhouse and Karen the host was so friendly and welcoming. The room we had was beautiful with views of the garden looking down towards the Thames-everything and more than we could have hoped for.
