Room, Lounge Bar, Food and Staff All excellent and could not do enough for you. Nice location, Quiet. No noise from any other rooms which happens a lot in other hotels. Lovely walks around the village and beyond. Also lovely garden come summer.

The staff were all very friendly, professional, and helpful. We had dinner in the restaurant and everything was great. The bed and comforter and pillows are super comfortable and it was the best night's sleep we got in over a week. The shower was great, the toiletries and towels were great. It was all wonderful. The location is convenient for walking to the Quay, shops, restaurants, etc. We drove to the Isle of Wight Ferry parking lot to take the ferry over for the day which was easy and convenient. We had stayed here before and will come back again.

Great proximity to everything. Nice bar with lovely outdoor area. Great friendly helpful staff. Rooms great. Great breakfast. Lovely bed and linen. Very helpful and carried our suitcases up and down stairs.

Stayed here as close to a country show we were going to.

Stayed here as close to a country show we were going to. Booked quite late, so maybe we should have looked into the hotel a bit more. No food Monday and Tuesday, only breakfast, but pubs around were serving, just inconvenient when children are involved and you have to drive or get a taxi. Evening staff member not good, but daytime and breakfast staff lovely.

The position of Sway was convenient for access to the New Forest and the South coast area like Christchurch and adjacent towns.The village is small but the essential shops are able to supply necessities.

Sway is a lovely village in the New Forest within easy reach...

Sway is a lovely village in the New Forest within easy reach of Brockenhurst and Lymington. It has several shops and pubs and a large area of accessible forest for walking. We used the Silver Hind and The Hare & Hounds pubs and both were dog friendly, had very friendly staff and served delicious food! Can't wait to return!

bashley sway area was a lovely location. highcliff castle a few miles away is worthb a visit. barton on sea a glorious area on the seafront. ideal for dog walking. lymington was close to sway and we had two meals in wetherspoon. great value . its close to the church in the high street. plenty of parking behind marks and spencer for great shopping without horrendous parking fees. disabled parking is free.

A quiet small village with friendly people.

A quiet small village with friendly people. Good to use as a base. Easy drive to the forest, Brockenhurst, Burly, Lyndhurst and Milford On Sea etc. Great breakfast at the Sway Deli. There's two pubs to choose from and there's the lovely Manor Hotel if you fancy a posh meal.

The location of Sway is very convenient for exploring the...

The location of Sway is very convenient for exploring the New Forest and the coast. Historic places - Beaulieu and Bucklers Hard - Keyhaven for walking by the Salt Marshes and Hurst Spit with its lovely beach are easily reached. The very regular train service from Sway to Brockenhurst and on to Lymington provides a nice alternative to driving and finding parking in a very popular tourist centre.

The property was charming in the way that we were expecting. It is hidden away in a quiet location in Sway which makes for a relaxing, peaceful break. Overlooking the fields, you could sometimes hear and see the horses nearby. We liked that there was a tennis court that we could access directly from our garden if we wanted to, by walking through the gate at the end of our property. However it was secluded from where we were staying, we didn't feel overlooked, we had the privacy of our space. I will definitely book this again.

We loved our stay at Winter Haven Cottage, the cottage was perfect and had everything we needed. Louise was an excellent host and very quick to respond to any questions. The location of the cottage is incredible, it is just a 2 min walk from beautiful heathland, so perfect for a morning walk with the dog. We recommend the Hare and Hounds pub which is just round the corner and The Forest Deli Sway which does a amazing breakfast! We will be back :)

Beautiful hotel, spotlessly clean and the staff were attentive and so welcoming. Nothing was too much trouble. The room was well appointed and the decor was lovely. The bed was a little uncomfortable, however don’t let that influence your decision to stay as I sometimes struggle on mattresses that aren’t my own!
