Nice shopping area at Tesside Park within a couple of miles.
Nice shopping area at Tesside Park within a couple of miles. Good selection of places and amenities for shopping. Cab fare around £6.60 between most places.
A good selection of pubs and good food service.
A great Snooker, Billiards, Pool Cue and accessories supply shop and also Thornaby snooker club is nearby in centre of Thornaby, Stockton-on-Tees. That was the main reason for my visit.
Snooker coaching by 3 different world snooker qualified coaches is also available in the Stockton-on-Tees area too.

A clean and pleasant suburb of the Stockton/Thornaby/Middlesborough built up area within walking distance (if you are a walker) of Stockton town centre and the Stockton Flyer. Plenty of places to park at no cost.

Booked to visit family nearby, around the same price we would have paid for a hotel room for 2 nights and had a house instead. Close to shops, takeaways etc. Quiet area with an enclosed private garden. We'll equipped kitchen and good communication with the owner.

Looked like a recent apartment fit out and really nice internally. Great for a stop over when in the locality rather than a hotel. Nice to have a kitchen area. Nice that tea/coffee and biscuits provided and also shower gel etc.

Unfortunately we couldn’t get hold of the company to get the access info. It cost us a lot to sort hotels near by. It’s a shame because it was perfect to look at and was exactly where we wanted to stay
