Where do I start? What a fabulous experience at this hotel. Excellent location, exceptional facilities, and overall a perfect place to stay in Thornham. Furthermore, Jonathan was easy to work with to correct a small, weird billing error that was no fault of his. This is what every hotel should be like - highest marks, deservedly so. Thank you!

It's a lovely village in a great location.

It's a lovely village in a great location. Like so many, it's blighted by second homes. There are no shops and the church is vast compared with the resident population. Other than catering for visitors , there are no signs of any local economy .

Lovely old pub with modern rooms. Staff were all excellent, very welcoming and friendly. The food we had was all very good, tasty and well prepared, however, there could be more provision for lighter style meals or specials. Some nice local ales on tap in the bar. Our room was very comfortable with everything we needed. It was nice to have its own private patio / garden area. Ideal place to stay from which to explore the North Norfolk coast. Would definitely stay again

My wife has a mobility problem with her feet if she was in a...

My wife has a mobility problem with her feet if she was in a wheelchair or mobility scooter we didn’t see any where that she could have got in and out of the property and she definitely wouldn’t have got into the rooms with the fire regulated closers on the doors.

A lovely village on the beautiful Norfolk coast.

A lovely village on the beautiful Norfolk coast. Plenty of places to eat but Thornham Deli is our favourite! RSPB Titchwell close by. You can walk to Holme Beach and stop at the beautiful Thornham beach on the way. Very atmospheric out on the salt marsh plenty of birds to see.

We loved the mix of the old world charm of the pub and...

We loved the mix of the old world charm of the pub and restaurant and the modern amenities in our guestroom. The location was perfect for coastal walks. And though we didn't have a dog, it seemed every other guest did, and their four legged friends were made just as welcome as the two legged ones. Our room was quiet and very comfortable.

Everything that we wanted was on our doorstep, great places to eat within walking distance. Lots of places to walk. Sandringham, ideally located if want to venture by car 30 minutes. 10 minutes Hunstanton

We love Thornham and have stayed there and near there for many years. Castle Bungalow was the perfect place to stay for myself my mother, daughter and 7month old granddaughter. It has 3 beautiful bedrooms, and would be perfect for couples or for a family. The garden shed had everything children would need for the beach. It was we equipped and very comfortable. Very near to Brancaster for lovely beach walks and Hunstanton with a little fun fair for kids.

The cottage number 1 was beautifully decorated and actually a beautiful building as a whole. It was very clean and really well equipped. The bedding and towels were divine and felt luxurious. Very comfy bed. Loved the log burner. The welcome hamper of treats was an extra lovely touch, as well as the dog friendly items such as bed, bags and biscuits. Well located for Thornham Deli and walks to the pubs and beach.

Beautiful room with a very comfy bed and great facilities. Perfectly situated to explore Thornham and the rest of the area. Good breakfast included in the Deli where the staff were very friendly. We'll definitely be back!!
