Kind attentive staff - from reception and waiting staff to the room cleaners

It was a beautiful old hotel that was very comfortable. I wish I could have stayed longer.

My daughter had the best time here, she is 7 so kids around that age will have a ball even when the main park is closed the indoor area (mayhem manor) is more than enough fun for the kids, rooms are lovely and staff were brilliant overall a really lovely stay and will definitely go again for longer next time

The two girls in reception are amazing and so helpful

It was a really nice area to stay in, the room was always kept clean and the staff are fast and friendly to do any job they can for you

The check in process was excellent. I arrived late but with prior arrangement the key was left in a secure lock box. The room was comfortable and warm when i arrived. Very comfy bed.

Perfect size room for a family of 5 Exceptionally clean the cleaning staff were amazing am a cleaner for a living and they were spotless Swimming pool was an added bonus kept the kids entertained however there was an age restriction on the jacuzzi so had two upset children most the time in the pool because they couldn’t understand why the couldn’t go in Breakfast was amazing All towels included even for the pool All bath products also included Will definitely be going again

Nice location and very handy for the M1 J31 and A1M. Good pub food next door and loads of more food choices in walking distance and many more that deliver on Just Eat etc. Rooms at the rear overlook the adjacent canal and are quieter than the front. Stayed here 10+ times on business travel and will use again

So comfortable. Arrived late and tired. Unfortunately had a room at the back of the hotel where the wedding was going on.

The property was easy to access driving north to Edinburgh. Wish we would have know there was a restaurant right next to the property. Staff was very friendly upon checkin in. We did not have lounge children with us but there was a little play group next to the restaurant. Our stay was short but perfect for a nights rest and was very affordable. The bed was one of the most comfortable we have slept in.
