Beautiful hotel and lovely surrounds. Food was great, particularly the breakfast. Perfect for those looking for a relaxing/peaceful getaway. Would recommend visiting Thetford Forest nearby.

The hotel was lovely and airy, Our room was big and light overlooking the quiet gardens. The bed was comfortable and the sheets were beautiful Egyption cotton. The staff were kind and generous with their smiles, and when my husband was taken isuddenly ill ( underlying condition) the memagement did everything possible to make him comfortable. My most ardent compliments go to the chef. There was no main course vegan option on the menu, but every night the chef cooked me something nutritious and delicious. It was some of the best food i have ever tasted.

The room was clean and had everything that I needed. The bed was comfortable and the bathroom nice (good shower). It was convenient to be able to eat in the pub and the menu choices were good.

Loft North we stayed in benefitted enormously with cross ventilation between the Velux windows and Bi-fold doors during the intense heat wave. Room & bed were very comfortable with very good facilities and room kept very clean and in good order.

Lovely hotel, delicious food, breakfasts are amazing.

Lovely hotel, delicious food, breakfasts are amazing. Very nice rooms with pretty outlooks over water meadows. Room was a little hot at night for our taste and difficult to lower the temp but we had a lovely stay, our 2nd visit and will return. Lovely location of forest and places to visit too.

Overrated venue.

Overrated venue. The restaurant service is slow, the staff very patronising & the menu is pretentious. A poor wine list. Loud crass pop music is inescapable. Rooms are ok in a bleak setting. Having to make an early start, we were offered a takeaway breakfast which consisted of one stale croissant, a bottle of water & a bottle of orange juice. Poor value for money.

Excellent hotel.

Excellent hotel. Room and main hotel building were of a really good standard. Everywhere was so comfortable and attractive. We stayed in a Water Meadow room which was so much nicer than photos. Little touches of sloe gin, chocolates and card and Buck’s Fizz acknowledging our wedding anniversary. All staff were great Breakfast was waitress served and not self service which was great

Short but nice stay, great location and nice surrounding. Dining experience was a cold room with staff unable to resolve so put additional clothing on. For a luxury venue, the fact that I witnessed an elderly couple having to manage their own luggage was a little disappointing.

A picturesque retreat with a lovely restaurant & bar. Most rooms are in the grounds so be careful of weather conditions. Good facilities in the rooms- ample bathroom with bath & shower. Free WIFI. Reception mostly unmanned. Footpath past our terrace so only for exhibitionists or pull all the blinds down! Good menu & wine list

The setting was lovely and it was relaxing. The hotel is exceptionally well managed with good reception staff -( Oliver) going out of his way to take care of guests even when extremely busy. The Manager who is an excellent chef was visibly involved overseeing everything and he was both courteous and attentive, knowledgable and attentive.
