The property was large and spacious and had everything we needed. The owners lived nearby and were extremely helpful and friendly. The beds were very comfortable. The view was lovely and the rural location was excellent.

It was fabulous, good value for money, room spotless, staff were lovely. Meals are huge and tasty. Great using local produce you can really taste the quality. The beer garden and play area for the kids was outstanding and although we didn't bring our dog it's super dog friendly and was great seeing one at breakfast! We had a room with a balcony and the view of the wheel and the small waterfall was just beautiful. Would 1000% recommend

All the staff were really lovely and I can’t speak highly enough about them! Overall the room was nice and clean. Location wise I thought this place was perfect. About 20 mins by car to Mam Tor / Winnats Pass & Castleton and about 25 mins the other way to Bakewell. In terms of Buxton town centre, it’s literally just round the corner for all the main shops, eateries & the Buxton Crescent Spa too (about 5 mins walk).

I love Whaley Bridge and often visit my family there whilst staying the beautiful accommodation of the Jodrell Apartments. Lots to do and transport to get around on your doorstep if you don't want to drive. Lots of eateries, pubs restaurants and local cafes with supermarkets nearby if not eating out. Lots of super walks with Castleton on your doorstep also, or Goyt Valley.

Lovely little village plenty of takeaways and shops with a lovely little cafe and chemists. We had a Chinese and it was probably the best I’ve ever had tbh. Lovely atmosphere also with the locals, extremely welcoming unlike other places we’ve stayed through airbnb where neighbours can be very strange with you just for booking a place out for a weekend 😂

Whaley bridge is a mixed town but we were disappointed in the condition of our property and the location was not at all private. Nice cafes and good shops on the doorstep. The town is close to many walks and venues.

Convenient for one overnight stay as central.

Convenient for one overnight stay as central. Needs more facilities if staying for longer. Owner didn't seem to realise we weren't a couple and needed separate beds so we were a bit short of bedding.
