This was my first stay at Aithrio, and it can only be described as the perfect 3-day holiday. The room was exactly like the pictures. It was super comfortable, warm and really clean with a lovely fireplace. The best part was our wonderful host, Olga that went above and beyond to make our stay as enjoyable as possible. She had a ton of information on what activities to do in the area was really friendly and inviting. And the breakfast she makes every morning set us up perfectly for a long day of exploring Zagoroxoria.

Lovely peace and tranquility and lovely old houses.

Lovely peace and tranquility and lovely old houses. No cars and limited facilities in the village. Tumbledown look adds to the atmosphere of the village which has great views over the surrounding hills and valleys, but cobblestone streets can make access difficult for those with mobility issues. One of the most unspoiled and atmospheric villages in the Zagorohoria.

A beautiful old village surounded by stunning scenery and kept peaceful by there being no traffic. A wonderful place to explore with great flora and fauna and brilliant bird life. There is also an excellent restaurant.

A unique hotel with a personal touch, Despina is exceptionally pleasant and professional, maintaining the entire hotel by herself to an excellent standard. She has extensive and precise knowledge about everything to do in the area, and her recommendations were excellent. The place was clean, organized, and peaceful, and the breakfast was perfectly satisfactory. It’s important to note that parking is available at the entrance to the village, which is the case in some other villages as well. There is also a tasty restaurant nearby.

The hotel is AMAZING ! Beautiful refurbished building, made of wood and stone, VERY romantic. Marios run the entire place like a king. A very high level of hospitality. He basically built us a schedule !!! We arrived there to have a good sleep, eat his amazing breakfast and visit places according the printed guide he created. You have to meet this guy ! Dilofo is a tiny hill village perched amongst the Zagori region's mountains.It is quiet, tranquil and as if from another time. The old house is like the pictures it has posted- beautifully renovated to have all comforts while retaining the aesthetic of the region. It's courtyard is a little haven within the confines of the village. Breakfast was generous and delicious and different each day. The hosts are very kind.
