The bay at Brna was beautiful with clear waters to cool off.

The bay at Brna was beautiful with clear waters to cool off. There are some nice walks around the bay with stunning views at the top of the telecoms tower. The village is quiet which I perceive as being like a Cornish village in the 1920's. There are a couple of supermarkets as well as a local Cafe for cheaper beers and cocktails. There is also a local Pizzeria and grill if you don't want to eat the the hotel. Brna is around 35 minutes from Korcula so bear this in mind with taxi (we paid 50 Euros each way).

Our host picked us up from the bus stop in Smokvica and after the bus time changed unexpectedly on departure day drove us all the way to Korcula. The apartment has a well equipped kitchen and a lovely terrace that we enjoyed sitting on. Brna is beautiful, we loved swimming at the hotel beach. There is a well stocked grocery store and we had some good meals at the grill- pizzeria and drinks at the hotel bar overlooking the sea.

This is fairly basic but reasonable accommodation in a good location on the far side of the bay The view from the terrace is great and the room size is good. Brna is a relaxing little town and very family friendly. It was useful to have a parking space.
