The host is so sweet. Although we had the code for the key, she came downstairs to introduce herself and told us that if we need anything, she lives upstairs. We booked bed only, but she still left breakfast items (we did not take anything since we did not pay for breakfast). The apartment was brilliant, clean and organised.

We happened upon Knin by accident when we were rerouted because of a closed road and fortunately found Jasna. The view of The Fortress from the balcony was stunning! The house was clean and so cute. The hospitality was the real star though! Natasa and her family were great. We got lost at 10pm on a Sunday night and they were so patient and we finally got there, Natasa was the best hostess! 10/10 recommend!

Owner was great. Nice, warm, polite - just as one wants it to be. :) Breakfast is included in the price and there is open buffet. Complementary drink was in the refrigerator. Hot water in abundance. Bed was almost perfect. Oscar the dog . :)

The Knin Fortress is very interesting and made for a great stopover driving north from Dubrovnik to Plitvice National Park. The drive out of Dubrovnik is spectacular along the coast for the first half.

The Knin town is little town, but it has a lot to offer.

The Knin town is little town, but it has a lot to offer. For a beer lovers I would recommend the pub in the main town street and craft beer Kraljevsko is must try and it is some hundred meters away from the pub. Knin fortress is nearby and it offers a lot of history and best views of surrounding area. Also for a snack visit La Rosa pizzeria. Waterfall Krcic is also must visit, but bring spare clothes if you decide to walk across the wooden bridge in front of the waterfall ;)

We were here only one night and we chose the place as an...

We were here only one night and we chose the place as an emergency overnight stay. We were even more surprised at what a beautiful place it is for hiking. I can only recommend. We will definitely visit again with our family. Thank you for your hospitality.

Our mountain view wasn't accessible as outside construction meant the window could not be opened. I'm sure other rooms were not impacted. Breakfast was great and the family were very hospitable. I wish them well as they develop the place.

The fortress was good , especially if you like history and...

The fortress was good , especially if you like history and want to see some of the problems the area has had to deal with ,the view from the Fortress is worth the climb if walking up and some museums of local culture etc was very interesting

It’s a great launching point for Mount Dinara, very relaxed...

It’s a great launching point for Mount Dinara, very relaxed and virtually no tourists. More of a real old Croatia feel about it. Generally much better value for everything from coffee shop to restaurant to my accommodation, compared to coastal towns like Zadar, Split, Dubrovnik. The castle was a highlight with a restaurant up there view over town and Mt Dinara and a concert playing later evening. Thing to remember takes time to get there and get away, only one bus per day per route and one or two trains despite what guide books and internet booking sites show. So double check and plan ahead
