What an excellent stay! If I could give this an 11 out of 10, I would. Renata is a lovely host, who was so kind as to offer a drink upon arrival, and coffee upon checking out the next morning, along with some excellent conversation. She is very kind and attentive and speaks multiple languages very well. This was certainly one of my best stays in Europe even if it was only for one night. The room was also incredibly clean, and was great value for the price. Our room had a small kitchen area, and the cupboards were filled with pots, pans, utensils, and everything we may have needed to cook. The building was also lovely, with great scenery, plenty of parking, and a good restaurant right next door. We spent our day before check-in at a beach about 20 minutes away from the room, where the water was warm, crystal clear, and just stunning. This was the perfect stay, my sister and I are hoping to return in the future!!!

Wow. Staff was so nice, room was very comfortable and thoughtfully planned (light switches for the room are by the door and by the bed!), fast WiFi, ammmmazing breakfast, free parking. I enjoyed the restaurant for dinner too and was impressed by the design and utility of the weather flexible terrace roof and side panel designs (staff was able to change the direction of the roof and bring down side panels to block out wind and leaves from an approaching storm) while still giving us a wonderful view). Breakfast had so many tasty options, delicious omelet and cappuccino machine and fruit bowl, teas, yogurt, etc. The bed was so comfortable too!

Wonderful hotel, and excellent, highly efficient staff, very friendly too. The dining, cuisine at Hotel Flanona was also excellent, especially the wide array of very fresh, extremely tasty fish and seafood dishes. The view however, from my hotel room balcony, actually a large terrace, was exceptional, breathtaking to look out upon the Adriatic.

Getaway with one of the best views in Croatia. Hotel is 250 m above the sea. If weather is fine you can sunbathe all day and even stargaze at nights. Hotel restaurant is also open for public. It features seasonal Istrian dishes, most popular seafood choices and a selection of surprisingly authentic pizzas. Food is affordable also. We did not dine anywhere else because the best food around can be found in your hotel :) Staff was friendly. Location is in the middle between Rijeka and Pula. Great starting point for daily visits of Rijeka, Opatija, Krk island, Pula and famous island archipelago Brijuni. Istra mainland is also closeby: Motovun, Buzet, Buje…

The apartment was cozy and spacious. It was extremely clean and spotless. The apartment had a great view, and we were even accompanied by some very cute cats. The hosts were friendly and welcoming—they greeted us with wine, cheese, and sausages. As goodbye gifts, we received a variety of local spirits, a handmade decoration, some garlic, and some freshly baked cakes. Overall, the experience was unbelievable—perfect for anyone looking to escape the big crowds and enjoy the peace and beauty of Croatia.
