We loved this apartment! It far exceeded our expectations. Lovely bedroom and living room--both of which opened out onto a lovely balcony overlooking the sea + full kitchen + great bathroom with super shower + a large patio off the kitchen--also with a magnificent sea view! Our host, Ivana, arrived quickly to let us in and show us around. When we asked if we could use the washing machine, she immediately provided us with laundry soap and showed us how it worked. The patio had a clothesline, complete with clothes pins--what a joy after 3 weeks of travel! As a bonus, the local bar was only a few steps down the street. We loved having a beer there--the people were so friendly and welcomed us to join them.

Ivana is a great host and her apartment is the perfect place to relax in Senj. She took very good care of us. We travel by bicycle and there is outdoor space to store the bikes for the night. The bed is very comfortable and the shower has lots of hot water and good pressure. Everything is very clean. I would highly recommend staying here. We wanted to spend an extra night but the apartment was not available so Ivana arranged for us to rent from her friend who has an apartment across the street. She went out of her way to make us comfortable.

Beautiful little coastal township, stopped on our way...

Beautiful little coastal township, stopped on our way through to Split. Had a evening walk through the township watching sunset over the bay and then visited the Nehaj Fortress that was built in 1558 in the morning before we left. Loved the rocky terrain looking out to the Adriatic sea and the historical buildings.

We found Senj to be a great place to stay.

We found Senj to be a great place to stay. It was perfect for driving to other activities and sites like the Fortress, beaches and Plitvice Park. Although there is not much to Senj old town, it was very nice to explore and enjoy the plaza and restaurants. A 4 night stay would be sufficient to see and do everything in the proximity.

Beautiful and historic seaside town with amazing scenery...

Beautiful and historic seaside town with amazing scenery around it. We were there off season but it was sleepy without much to do. We visited the Nehaj Fortress which includes a museum and rooftop views of the sea and town. The beaches in the area are typically small and rocky. We stayed mostly to go to Plitvice National Park which is over an hour drive away from the town.

What a Authentic little town, not to touristy good services though, nice Adriatic beaches and coves. Lots of interesting history to hunt down. Mid Sept. and the water was still around 20c . Calming place after all the fast pace of larger city's Dining hint: find Kod Veska.... seafood galore

Zengg is the perfect choice if you're not only interested in...

Zengg is the perfect choice if you're not only interested in the beach, but also want to see a bit of the city. The old town is interesting, the castle is worth a visit and the restaurants are good. It's big enough that you can't really notice the many tourists. The locals are friendly and you can get along well with English or German.

It is a nice and hilly place.

It is a nice and hilly place. It is not much of a big town/city. It does not have a long coast line but there is a nice beach we visited called Skver Beach which closed to the town/city centre. I liked their lechon also that is one of the menu from all the restaurants we visited.

Senj is a beautiful place. For sure i will come back next year but i will stay longer than this year because i had a chance for only 3 days vacation this year. I am happy with apartment Kate very much,price is very good,apartment was clean and neat. Owner Kate was very polite and even the cleaning lady was heart warming,friendly and comunicative staff. I really like a quiet and peace at night and Kate Apartments will provide you peace and quiet from Heaven. See you next year!

The location is simply stunning, and the view is arguably one of the most beautiful in Senj. Although we did not meet the owner in person, they were extremely helpful via SMS and always responded promptly. The house is spotlessly clean, pleasantly scented, and very comfortable, creating a truly welcoming atmosphere.

Very clean house and close to the city center of senj. This house is perfect for families and we have free Netflix and 2 airco’s. And in the fridge a free big water bottle and apple juice I think this is best so far what we have rented in senj and I’m coming for 6 years. Hot water fully working
