A paradise, if you are seeking peace and quiet and are prepared the care you will receive by a well trained staff, with little knowledge of any language other then bahasa indonesia. But that is the charm of the place. A newly appointed general manager Mia, fluent english attentive, warm reception and full of information. The cuisine offering interesting local fare rather well prepared. Highly recommended as a destination along the coast.

It's a family-owned resort, stand right by the beach. Iwan, the manager of the resort, picked us up from the airport. He speaks English well and very friendly. So upon our arrival till departure, all the staffs there, Iwan, Orfi and Angel, were so helpful and tried to make our stay convenient, and to this, we may say they did a super job. 👏👏👏

The location is one of a kind. The whole project was amazingly thought through and brilliantly carried out.

The hotel is relatively new and modern. We had a pool suite and it was very nice, though a bit small by Indonesia luxury hotel standards. The staff is friendly. The hotel provides good value for the price.

The pool activities truly felt like the heart of the resort—full of life and positive energy. I also appreciated the variety of activities available, such as horse riding and cycling, which added a unique charm and allowed guests to enjoy the natural beauty of Sumba in an active way. At night, I treated myself to a spa experience within the resort, which was incredibly relaxing and the perfect way to end the day after a lively evening. Although my stay was short, it was deeply satisfying. Kambaniru Beach Hotel & Resort offers a wonderful combination of comfort, vibrant atmosphere, and heartfelt service. I had to leave, but I will certainly return on my next visit. Highly recommended for anyone visiting East Sumba and looking for a resort with soul, warmth, and memorable experiences.
