United StatesSuch a beautiful location, it's down a dirt road 100 meters but very quiet. On top of the hill overlooking the valley.
I was the only one there but it was very peaceful. The wifi worked great and there was plenty of hot water.
I would definately stay there again.

We really liked everything in this place, infinity pool is very beautiful with a view of rice fields and mount Agung, our room was clean and equipped with all the necessary things. Well served breakfast, there is always a choice. The staff r all soo friendly, ready to help at any moment. Since this villa is located far from center, it is very quiet here, so this villa is a great place for a romantic vacation. We had a really wonderful time here, and only regret that we did not stay here longer. Highly recommended to visit🫶🏻 Can’t wait to be back!

United KingdomThe staff were amazing! So friendly, polite and helpful! From reception to security, everyone went the extra mile and really made us feel welcome! It was the little things that the staff did that really made our stay special... When my partner told a staff member about my love for elephants, we returned to our room to find a freshly made bed with clean towels in the shape of a elephant. The staff offered to clean our room daily, and respected our privacy when we remained in the room sleeping and chose not to have it cleaned. The location was very peaceful and the staff were helpful with organising transport for tours etc.

We stayed just one night to visit the Gates of Heaven.
We stayed just one night to visit the Gates of Heaven. I feel is enough to see the surroundings and have a feel of the place. We found the tickets a bit expensive. I mean is a nice place but not to pay 10$. You can see Tirtagangga in 20 minutes, depending on whether you are an instagramer and you take selfies in every corner, then you can stay there for over an hour, although is very difficult to take good selfies as there are people everywhere.
Around the entrance, there are a few restaurants and shops. But please I would say to the owners or whoever takes care of this place, tell people not to feed the fish. They are huge! and it's because the shops nearby sell food so you can take a picture with the fish.

We were lucky to arrive when it wasn't peak season, there were still a few posing Instagram poofters that were over the top and holding up the actual view. I'd hoped that they were going to fall in the water!!!

Nice place to chill out and feed the fish.
The bonus here is that there aren't annoying hawkers and street urchins trying to con you out of you cash.
It is a temple, enjoy it's peace and tranquility~!

If you want peace and quiet this is the place.
If you want peace and quiet this is the place. I recommend to anyone. The accommodation was unique and the space was excellent. We chose not to but the staff were accommodating and would have arranged day trips if we wanted.

I should that the facilities are cheap and simple.
I should that the facilities are cheap and simple. The only electric equipment is a fan (a good one). The shower works, but floods the floor. It's in an isolated place, on a broken road, and Indonesia's main roads are not for pedestrians.The food however is delicious and cheap.

Very nice place to visit. Taman Tirta Gangga is a must. Many beautiful ricefields with a view towards Gunung Agung in the region. Pura Lempuyang with the famous gate to heaven, another must see in the region, especially for Instagramers. However, in my view the temple is not worth visiting for the money to be spent there. The obligatory transfer from the parking to cash desk, obligatory rental of sarong, entrance (donation but try not to pay), every photo with Agung view. They charge you on every step. Better visit Tirta Empul or Goa Lawah.

Puri Abian Ari has a lovely setting behind Balinese gates and shaded by an enormous fig tree. The staff were friendly, knowledgeable, and very helpful. The rooms are large, the bedding comfortable, the bathrooms have great water pressure. Big bed. Cool nights because sutuated on the liwer slipes of Mt Agung. It is located a few minutes from the Tirtagangga Water Palace (20 minutes walk) and close to hundreds of rice terraces. The locals are very friendly and curious.

A beautiful private villa with views over the water palace gardens, an outside lounge area and plunge pool. We were woken in the morning by a frog chorus. They were all in a line along the pool edge. It was very special to be able to walk alone in the beautiful gardens as the sun rose. The staff were friendly and very helpful. We enjoyed having an outdoor bathroom. There is a hotel next door which serves good food but it does close very early.

The property is located in a fantastic location facing the Mount Agung and surrounded by the rice fields all around. We enjoyed every minute of these amazing views from the roof top on this house. Our lodge had a lot of space for living unlike classical hotels, and it was a welcome respite

Location is super near to the park however it is not really something else going on there. Room was clean and ready. It is a home stay so standards of course not level of hotels. Pool was really nice. There is nobody except you so that feels really nice.
