Super comfortable accommodation in a lovely area. There is a horse farm across the road and cattle in the distance. The owners are amazing! They ensured we had a wonderful stay. The cottage was spacious for the 4 of us. We highly recommend this country stay.

It was just amazing. The huts were nice & cosy & comfortable. The communal facility was very good, with good facilities & a log fired stove. The next morning Mary had a lovely selection of freshly home made breads, fruits, yoghurts, fresh organic eggs, but the highlight for us was the amazing freshly foraged mushrooms was such a treat, provided by Mary, it was very thoughtful, you don't get that anywhere. An amazing place, will return again.

A welcoming place- perfect for a home base while touring around the area. A comfortable, large, clean space. We used the well organized kitchen for dinners in, the hot tub for weary muscles, and the spectacular views for amazing pictures. Loved being able to connect with the animals! Jackie was a very attentive and helpful host.

Amazing location. 30 minutes from town but it's part of a farm. Cutest cottage with horses and sheep steps from the house. My bedroom (there 2) had a view of the sheep when I woke up. It has a nice little kitchen if you need. The owner is next door we talked for a while but she didn't want to "bother" us. She was so sweet. I'll try to post pics later. Thanks Marie!!

Amazing location , amazing views , great hosts and would certainly stay again. The pods were tastefully decorated incredibly clean and comfortable. Welcome package of fruit and milk was appreciated along with the dog biscuits. It was a great stay .

Borris is a lovely old style village/town in South Carlow.

Borris is a lovely old style village/town in South Carlow. Borris House and its surrounds give great character to the place. Plenty of scenic views in the area. The old railway viaduct trail at the bottom of the village is worth a visit.

Borris was difficult to find for those who can not use SatNav! To help others , Look for Bagnelstown after that ,easy. Borris is well positioned for touring historical buildings and sites in Co.Carlow, Co.KilkennyCo. Waterford and Co. Wexford.

Lovely quaint village with a fine estate house right in the centre of the village. Peaceful relaxing , an ideal place for relaxation and also close to kilkenny city . Lovely old pubs especially Joyce's. A magnificent viaduct that was part of the railway network.
